I hear you, but i think you forget that kinect isn't geared towards the hardcore. Kinect is going for the family/group type of games.
Bayonetta IMO was the feel good action game of 2010.

I was excited for this game but when I finally started to play it, it felt really boring.
Cutscene, fight one room of 4 or 5 monsters, then shimmy across a bunch of platforms, rinse and repeat.
I found myself playing for an hour then putting it down and going to something else.
