you only needed to read this article you comment on to see you are incorrect and those are last gen games that added +10$ for the "next gen" version.

guess you didnt read the article, they mention that other games are also that price and their point is, while the price hike will likely happen for all AAA games, new IPs have a bigger risk of people skipping them at that price than it does on big proven yearly franchises.

isnt the game "dreams" and "little big planet 3"also moderate success and didnt sony double down on supporting them? (we got a new lbp game for ps4/5) am i missing something? seems people are way too atached to this one game to try to stretch it into a whole story when it isnt.
in comparison xbox series X appears to sell for 13 999 EGP which it's about $891,51 USD.
wouldnt it be cheaper to buy them from different countries?
state of play were never meant to be big events, i'd be happy with news for returnal or ratchet and clank, probably mostly 3rd party/indies so kena is a possibility too, any of those 3 would make for a good episode.
why did i read the title and thought we were getting extra games a month?
im all for new games, keeps people invested on their service and new people will get ps+ as a result (a month of ps+ beats buying the new game).
the people who are complaining dont care for what this might mean to playstation, releasing old games of 3 years to pc will get them resources to make better games in the long run, i would much rather they do this and release some old games to pc than to fill my games i play now with microtransactions instead.
the rest is just noise from both sides exagerating what it means and that there isnt a reason to get a ps5, when there are several.
lets hope its not as bad as its been spreading around, i come home to see 3 seperate news about dualsenses having no more than 400 hours (on n4g) until it starts happening and then i read that its the same as every last gen device which i had no problems with since the joy cons, but the question is why didnt they try to fix it if it was a last gen problem, how much would it cost them to change those parts so that it either stops it or its much harder for it to happen?

@rlow1 thats not realistic, 2x the speed means better results using the same framework, xbox has better optimiation process/program than ps5.
you will see no game on next gen loading faster on xboxX over ps5, this is not a guess, its a fact.
i wouldnt go too deep into your opinions right now when as soon as next week next gen games will be compared and xbox wont do better than ps5, i hope you werent one of the people saying 16% more teraflops will change everything while tur...

these games arent optimized for the SSD, heres a comparison NEW games on ps5 have loads below 10s, yet OLD games are almost a minute.

they say its bad that you cant put disk ps4 games on a digital ps5, is this even exclusive to ps5? anyone buying a digital console with physical games should know or research if they could play them, its common sense.

-in-game activity progress percentages, trophies % without entering a different app, watch friends game or watch how to proceed in a game you are stuck without a PC, both can be viewed in pause mode or while you play seeing both screens for easier access (friends gameplay you can, not sure if walkthroughs work that way but you can resume where you paused with a button).

i've had white ps4 since it came out, i dont clean it nor do i take extra care of it, it never became anything but white, the idea it gets yellow when its overly exposed to the sunlight its obvious and that would be on the person, not a reason not to buy a white console (wheres the article saying the same about the white xbox SS?).
You do not need to concern yourself over a white console, its F.U.D at its finnest, get people to worry about non issues and blow it out of proportion...
you can buy the ps4 miles morales, then when playing it on ps5 theres a option to buy the remaster of spider-man for 20$ and get both on ps5
this new model will be on miles morales and spider-man 2 (most likely), they cant make it an option in all these games, wonder if they could even do a reverse in time for mid november release since they would need to do possibly 2 games while they are still finishing touches on miles morales, a delay is not in their best interest.

that never happened to me, are you sure it wasnt a youtube video?
because options are bad? unlike what you believe some people do prefer all the bells and whistles with 30 fps over 60fps, the ones who dont also have an option for them, more options is suposed to be a good thing.
