I’m part ways through this and it’s a decent game, and the combat is incredible.
That said it’s not worth 70, especially since games like res evil 8 are 55
all these tears with people saying "you know what you signed up for" etc, bs
This game needs some sort of save and quit. Other rogure likes have them on quit, checkpoints, saves at the last room etc
This is more about a modern quality of life thing which others have already added, and its a fair point to make with it not being there

I watched a streamer play this, took 6 hours and the split screen gimmick was cool once. It’s not worth 40 ish euros but it’s decent for game pass
For it’s time and as a reference to others it will always be a bar to reach, but as for the rest of time.... no, no it does not.
It’s controls are bad, using the c buttons for looking on dated joypads, the frame rate is terrible and ... well no it doesn’t .
But hey I’m looking forward to what big n does for the anniversary, it’ll be milked for years to come
I’m going through this on ps5 and sure the frame jank isn’t an issue..... until you’re given free reign of the city.Then any city movement becomes a jutter fest and the 60 fps in between just makes it more noticeable in gameplay. It is playable, and I’ve seen the performances of the other consoles to know others get it worse, but it still needs looking at.
50 quid is a lot and I’ve yet to see the value of adding 20 more to that. I enjoyed returnal for example, but it’s not worth 70 and to me didn’t have anything extra in there for it to be 20 more. Take for example res 8, which was 55ish in the uk on psn, which was priced much better for the content
