I`m really struggling to find the point of this.
Speed up, okay good, speed through some of those summons, I guess. But what enjoyment could someone possibly get out of using any of those others to play the game? They pretty much nullify the 'game' potion of the game.
Stupid.

Not bad.
They might even listen if the petition got another 990,000 signatures.
Might.

I couldn`t possibly imagine spending $60 on COD game only to ever play the multiplayer. It has never been close to worth that. It`s not a primarily focused MP game.
Battlefield, yes. That game I can see buying full price and only playing MP - it`s a huge, expansive, full MP and the main focus of the game. But COD? They put easily as much work, if not more, into it's SP and they're usually pretty amazing experiences if only for the grand set pieces alone. The MP has always been...

Who's idea was this?
Who really thinks this is what we want? Turning Legacy of Kain into a another subpar generic onlinre multi shooter?
WTF? This will crash and burn.
Why not spend the resources on something we actually want, like a sick reboot of the series?
Jesus.

At this point it feels like we`re beating the point to death with all these discussions on the turning point for the RE series. It seems the fans are generally in a collective agreement, even the ones that stand behind RE6, that the series has gone severely downhill.
Me? I miss static cameras, eerie orchestras, slow-burn pacing and the fear of the unknown creeping out of sight. Sadly, in Resident Evils heyday it relied heavily on the sort of tactics that are now considered obsolete an...

* Like I did when I lied to you all about Aliens: Colonial Marines over and over, then ignored the whole thing when the final product was absolutely nothing like I promised.

Oops. Pitchford is a slimy, lying worm who will say anything to ensure you buy his company's product, regardless of what state it is in. I will never buy another one of Gearbox's products, even if it does have the polish of BL2. Companies should be held accountable for their actions.

It's completely fair. Pitchford ranted for months and months before the release of Aliens about how utterly amazing the game is, about how much loving attention and detail they were putting into it, about how much painstaking work Gearbox was dedicating and about how loyal they were being to the source material.
Then it turns out Gearbox outsourced it to a company that didn't have a freaking clue, got it back looking like trash, and released it anyway saying 'meh, fuck it&...

Well, they're probably running a re-built, emulated version of LoZ on a mad high end PC, rather than actually plugging the Rift into an old NES...

Really doesn't matter at all if they should or not, since they very clearly aren't. Sonic now has a new TV show, a new game, a new style, a new merchandise plan, etc etc. Asking if it should be put to rest is a moot point.

Greatest game of all time, as far as I'm concerned.
Nothing in gaming ever affected, changed, and even shaped me in the way experiencing Silent Hill 2 did back in my teenage years.
Like another poster Aaron Colas said, you will bond with this game very deeply. I sure have.

I really wish they hadn't screwed up the re-release so hard.

Amazing detail, I'm so completely stoked!! Looks like they're really taking the source material at heart. It's about time a game company looked to inspiration on the franchise to something other than the second movie. It's amazing, but not every game can be a gun-blazer, and it's shown countless times it doesn't work. That's not what we want.
This! This is what we want!!

It was there. Just the first movie. Originally the Alien had a face more similar to human, with eye sockets and eyes and a humanesque skull little like the human/alien brood in Resurrection. Ridley had this design changed because he felt the eyes removed some of the sinisterness of the Alien. The skull remained however - the Alien dome is transparent, just. You can see though it to the embedded human-like skull inside the dome. A relic of the human genetics adopted during the breeding process...
