Cobra Kai!
heat is awesome... yeah give me lossless audio with the gun fight towards the end... that would sound insane!
the biggest reason why the PS division is so succesful because it is indeed a mongoloid titan of a company that can easily be considered an equivalent or even bigger than MS itself! The author forgets that MS has its Xbox 360 gaming division itself. Yeah you can say that they do get more direct funding from the general corporation, but to even acquire the PS division would take a toll on its resources, especially when they are still trying to acquire other companies, for example, Yahoo... whi...
wow. I saw this on the front page, and I thought maybe for once there would not be any fanboyism. But I came in to only see some people getting their comments deleted for offensive statements just because this woman worked for microsoft/xbox ????. You people have no class.
This whole Netflix thing is overhyped. I have the regular service for DVD's/blu-rays and I RARELY stream movies because a good majority of them are second rate. You barely get any new releases that matter on it. I really don't care much about it for either system
Edit: The TV Shows are the only thing thats worth it in my opinion
the power is in my pants
...oh yea cell thats right. :p
This guy brought up many valid points
I have to give when credit is due.. The brains behind the Wii strategy did a hell of a job.
-I still will never buy one though
Well you got me on that one ... i can admit when i'm wrong.
The only thing though, if you notice... These comparisons, that you are on the link that you posted, are not as lopsided as the current one is. There are instances where the PS3 even come out on top. Do you even care to ask yourself, "maybe the development is of lackluster quality" compared to the 360 for a lot of multiplat games. If its very WELL KNOWN that games do not even come close to using the maximum poten...
great googly moogly
its called the lack of using RGB FULL on the PS3. Sites that use comparisons between the two systems refuse to use it since "its not a default setting".
I think that is a load of crap -
Its put up or shut up time. give me a comparison with the highest possible settings on both systems (assuming if there is any more you can do with the 360)and then we'll talk
and to add...
Which game received the Best Graphics of E3 award from most sites. Does anyone care to enlighten us?
We all know that with proper game development what the PS3 can do.
be realistic though - would you just want to do without all of the options that the PS3 offers currently? do you want no wi-fi? no decent gaming network? no HI def format player brought to you by blu ray? no standard hard drive to save files, music, games, and your porn? There was NO WAY POSSIBLE to sell all that with a low price. Are you serious? The Playstation division of Sony would expeirence catastrophic losses. That is why the Wii is justified by its price being the overclocked gamecube...
um this is concerning Wii ... this is a whole different ball game we're talking about here buddy. Nothing would have stopped the Wii and it's success, Nintendo only broke a barrier that even got people who aren't hardcore gamers interested. Its Low price and motion gimmick is more for the casual crowd, a crowd that for the most part wouldn't enjoy games like Gears of War or MGS4 as much as we would.
So please stop being biased and see this whole thing for what it is.
Especially when prices become even more consumer friendly for the PS3 in the future..
i thought we'd have flying cars by now, ala Back to the Future style!
but i believe Counter Strike is solely responsible for the popularity of online FPS multiplayer gaming. I've been playing since it was beta mod in 2000. It instituted the idea of complete customization(map&player), introduced ideas of competitive play ie clans, and CAL competitions, and so on.
Yes HALO was the first popular online FPS on consoles, but a revolution it was not. Online multiplayer was always going to be an inevitable feature on consoles and HALO just happened to...
I don't know if you guys remember, there was an article post on here months ago basically stating that the FF series doesn't have the draw that it did compared to when it first came out. (I believe it was posted by a 360 fan) It showed that even on the PS2 sales performance slowed down noticeably signaling that gamers are showing a lack of interest with the series itself. With that in mind I am shocked that its going to be on the 360, but am I worried? The answer is no.
Years a...
