Looks better than the current PS3 but those grooves in the middle were unnecessary a matte finish would have been better those grooves will also be a pain to keep clean and did Sony replace the elegant grab disc tray with a cheap open lid drive? This is disappointing to me for 1 important reason local co-op what a selling point it could have been at launch. Imagine no split screen multiplayer/co-op on your T.V all you would have to do is pick up another GamePad and bam your own screen with full view of the action even better with supporting up to 4 local players all with their own screen. This is very good news for me Pai was 1 of my favorites from the Virtua Fighter series which I still personally consider the best of the three similar fighting style games(Tekken,DOA,Virtua Fighter)and since Sega hasn't been interested in a new installment this will do just fine.
Considering Halo only sells about 8-10 million of 360's 65 million install base I would say the majority of Xbox owners don't give a damn for Halo either so why would Sony. I think there might be some truth to what you said it would have been much better to see Sony Bend take on these projects but that still doesn't excuse Activisions lack of support, where's THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, SKYLANDERS GIANTS games at I see them available for 3ds. You can criticize the execs and marketing division at Sony but Sony's engineers are really incredible the way they can continue to shrink the PlayStation systems for maximum profit the ps2 slim still amazes me when I put side by side my fat ps2. And bundling Fifa with it is very smart, Fifa is huge in Europe where PS3 is continually outselling 360 by quit a bit. New look hardware, lower price, new Fifa=$.
