the moblins in skyward sword look weird
Its not a issue of copying its more of a trend related thing I feel, Nintendo backed motion controls whole-heartedly with the wii but didn't support a traditional controller for their big games and for a relatively low price, unlike microsoft and sony who chose graphics and power as their next step in the console market. MS and Sony obviously saw the new demographic that was buying games after the Wiis success and wanted to attack it, which is evident through Move and Kinect. Nintendo is ...
They have the 2 3DS games coming out and the Raccoon City game, Capcom might show something for the PS Vita or the Cafe, or maybe even tease RE 6, I hope that none of the games will be on rails
Yeah I think that third party developers would announce games for it but I doubt that they would demo them or show the controller or the console on Tuesday, before the Nintendo press conference.
Pikmin
Has anyone on this website actually seen Wii 2, PS4 or Xbox 720 graphics... Until e3 or an earlier leak will we finally see the successor to the wii and then we can praise or bash it.
Unlike you I really like the art-style in windwaker, and I like the look of this game but some of the enemies look a bit out of place.
If they sell the console with it for $250 there is a chance it could sell well but if sony move costs $400 at its lowest price with a console and Kinect plus the console will cost probably $300 they are forgetting one thing that attracts people who usually don't play video games: price point, the gimmicky stuff might were out because nintendo already beat them to the point.
pikmin is awesome
I bet it will come out slightly after Skyward sword
Our Wallets
the second half of that conference was like nintendos conference in 2008, long and uninspiring
If they release it as soon as March of 2011 in Japan they will have to show some software with it, like the vitality sensor they said they didn't want to show what it did without software to back it up.
Did anyone watch the Ubisoft conference where James Cameron talked for an hour straight about Avatar but didn't show anything about the movie. It seemed out of place.
Just like its going to be the year of the Zune.
If you think about it when you get mocked about having motion controls as a main source of input by the competition and then the competition wants to add motion controls to their console you would have some smart ass comment. somewhat ironic
I think the article is somewhat true, with the current generation of consoles Nintendo decided to take a different route by backing motion controls instead of HD graphics. Nintendo was able to sell the Wii for a price that was profitable, was cheaper than the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, and targeted at a broader demographic. The combination of a low price point, easier accessibility for new gamers, and franchise games allowed the wii to sell. Now Nintendo is backing up HD graphics and now of...
