Agreed. The level of immersion whilst interrogating a victim seems to be one of a kind this gen.
"more character and vitality than any title in recent memory"
Pretty much what I'd hoped!
I'd love a couple more Invasion maps.
Excellent review. I actually heard good things about the online but indeed, seems they found a way to tack it on somewhere. The single player is outstanding though, and deserves to be experienced.
Good to hear, though it was pretty much a given from the get-go.
No new info since E3.
What else could we expect from the Duke?
Exactly. Is it too much to ask for both to be equally important?
Loved it. The camera work and overall cinematics are top-notch.
Great read. The genre I strongly believe that will suffer the most transformations, for better or worse, in the upcoming years.
Let's see how the PC crowd reacts to this.
Agreed. It makes me sad though; as a studio they had all the possibilities to become a top-tier studio after Heavenly Sword but they digged themselves a hole.
I'm still begging for a classic SOCOM camera view.
The online was, by far, KZ 2's strongest point. I'm still playing it with my clan on a daily basis.
Oh, how incredible BG II's script was. I expect BioWare to deliver a great game, regardless of this claim.
Oh my! Absolutely loved The Darkness.
Looks brilliant. Comparing it to HL2 and to the original Deus Ex is making me a strong believer that Human Revolution will deliver, after the disappointment that was Invisible War.
The games with vast and interesting worlds to explore are still there, you just have to look closer, and that list of yours proves just that. I'd add The Witcher and WoW, as well.
Agreed. It's part of a game- just like soundtrack, setting, characters, gameplay, it all boils down to creating this virtual world wherein you feel immersed.
Different people might prefer gameplay to level design but, personally,I'd never neglect the technical side of graphics and its evolution.
One of the most underrated games of last generation. I'm so glad it's getting an HD remastering.
