DigitalRaptor yeah i`ve got to say what he wrote makes no sense to me either.
"Compare that to the Wii, that completely redefined the way we game. That was a true next generation console when it was released and it didn't rely on humongous pixel count".
Ohh dear. Guess he didn`t notice up that Wii is just an enhanced Eye Toy with controllers ;)
I don`t know about DR3 being an instant classic, but it does look like a fun game :)
If it comes out on PS4 i`ll consider picking it up if the reviews are good and people seem to like it.
Sounds really cool and i`ll be getting this for PS4 when it`s out. They should make a lot more action RPGs like Diablo on consoles. Remember having a lot of fun with the Baldur`s Gate Dark Alliance-series on PS2 with friends.
Hope they get a smooth framerate which is really important for games like this with a lot of stuff happening on screen. And i think that should be easier to do on PS4 than PS3 ;)
nukeitall, do you honestly believe the nonsense you`ve written??
PS4 has better RAM and GPU. Is a lot easier to develop for than the PS3. Has a lot better indie support. And is 100 dollars CHEAPER.
How is that less of a console that Xbox One? How can a better machine with better first party developers and indie support lead to worse games and less new game experiences? Better hardware makes it possible to make new and better types of games you know ;)
thehitman hehe yeah i know. That`s why i said CGI-like quality graphics with regards to some effetcs ;)
Could be. Or maybe they pushed it back a bit to use some extra CGI-effects juice ;)
Either way. Can`t wait for the game`s out. Really CGI-like quality with the way it looks now. That`s insanely impressive considering it`s an open world game :)
trevorosz, yeah for some reason it works better in Fallout. I think the universe there allows them go a bit more crazy and be more creative in their quests too. The weapons and the vats system is also cool :)
I liked Skyrim too actually. But disappointed in it being less than Oblivion, except for a better level system ;)
AshKetchum, so voicing your opinion is spaming??
This is an article of which game`s disappoint the most. I think it`s ok to give the reasons why i think Skyrim wasn`t all that great. If you liked the game, fine disagree all you want. This isn`t spam or off-topic.
ifritAlkhemyst, i liked Oblivion actually, even though the level system was really broken on consoles. Haven`t tried Morrowind, but i`ve heared it`s really good :)
I think the story...
I don`t think it was the best Uncharted game, but still extremely well made and fun game in my opinion.
Probably suffered a bit bacause how mindblowingly great U2 was, but still better than 99% of other games.
Losing their repitation? Yeah i mean, The Last of Us was so, so bad too....Not game of the year at all ;)
Edit: And what is a good game to you "Ketchup"? Doubt you have played the Last of Us, but still fun to know.
Skyrim and GTA4 would be on the top of my list.
GTA tried taking the game in a more serious direcion, but it dosn`t work with bad AI, sloppy shooting system, horrific controls (especially with the cars), and the most boring story and lack of variation in the missions in the series.
Skyrim was a huge game, but i`ve never seen so many bugs in one game before and i`ve played Fallout New Vegas which crashed i don`t know how many times. I`ve never had several qu...
Ju, have you tried Bioshock or Half-Life-series? I really do think it`s possible to pull of e great story, even in a FPS. And it definitively adds a lot to the game. Hell, i would say even COD4 pulled of an ok story than worked for that game, before the series went to hell ;)
Bathyj, yeah i agree man. Really miss that from the first Killzone, so the trailers they`ve shown so far with the switch from machinegun to sniper has me excited :)
Really hope they deliver a great story this time around. The universe has always had such awesome art direction, but the story telling hasn`t matched the rest of the attention to detail in the games so far.
The more open world stuff and the (hopefully) two kinds of firing modes for each weapon, should make it a lot more varried too.
They`ve already got the best melee system too, because the kills look brutally cool and actually takes time to pull of. Giving...
TongkatAli that is indeed a sad one. One from FF7 also comes to mind ;)
Mainman, couldn`t agree more.
I also think ND would rather work on Uncharted, Last of US sequel of some sort, or maybe a new IP. And use their own engine too.
I think the same applies for big studios like Rocksteady etc. So, i would imagine i would be a smaller, upcoming developer or a less "famous" studio of some sort.
I played through both MGS1 and FF7 not too long ago and they both are still the magical games i remember, so a l...
Agreed. MGS1 and FF7 are the best game`s ever for me.
The feeling of paying them is just a magical journey i can`t seem to find again i newer games, no matter how well they`re produced.
I didn`t know it was him that did the voice while playing it. Great and creepy character.
Guess that makes North proud after reading the interview ;)
Hehe a pretty funny trollvideo, even though i`ll perfer to remember the PS3 a lot more positive myself :)
Playing Uncharted 2 when you`re being chased by a helicopter that shoots up the very ledge you`re running on. Wood flying in all directions along with the rest of the environment reacting to the wind and gunfire. Finishing by bringing down the very house you stand in. And then you realize. HOLY SHIT!! That wasn`t a cut scene. And to quote Portal 2: That just happend (whil...
badkolo, so because you and god knows who else want a camera included, the rest of us should pay extra? I`m sure Sony will have a bundle which saves you some cash if you what it along with your PS4 too.
But what brilliant Kinect games have you seen so far for XBone? Ryse was suppose to be an all-kinect game, but is now scaled back to just included in some minor form. The same will probably be true for most games.
The same reason why lightguns arn`t included...
Not really, but i wouldn`t mind the stuff you`re using monkeyboy ;)
I still havn`t seen anything yet that makes me want to buy the Eye or an Xbox with Kinect, so i think both have to show more why we need cameras.
With that said, i like Sony`s approach better becuase i can still pick it up at a later time if something truly great comes along.
For multiplatform games i think developers will add similar featchures for the Eye if they`re also doing them for Kinect. So i don`t think Sony will suffer too much for not bundling the ...
