We have here at Sony started a school where all the literature is printed with letters less than 1mm in size. It is on purpose and our intention is to makes it harder to learn. But you get better results in the long run and besides, what are you going to do anyway if you finish the book early..
One thing worth pointing out is that for a company specialized in electronics, building the best/most powerful console on the market is something they all can do. That is really not the hard part. All you have to do is bringing the best parts together. What´s separating the manufacturers is the ability to squeeze the highest amount of power out for every penny and optimize it /make it easy to optimize games for, to get the most out of it.

In the comparison chart, i love how sony states that "HDMI output" in 360, is "not available in earlier models"
And i thought they were comparing themselves to todays consols on the market..
This opens up a whole new ballgame. Why not throw in a dreamcast in there and bash it a little for lack of features.

Don´t take you that seriously with that name, but you are right. You don´t buy an arcade if you are looking for a console with a harddrive. You buy a 360 with a harddrive. So why start counting costs for how badly you can buy something if you´re really aiming for it?
It has a fantastic lineup for this year indeed.

And i did. I bought ps3 even thou there were no games.
So i guess i´ll grab a fluffy pillow to sit on and drive to work.
But at least its futureproof i hear :/
A well educated guess is that Blu-ray, DD and DVD will co-exist for years to come.

You can buy a 20 gig harddrive for the xbox 360 at mart now for $24.99
*sigh* Its not that hard to sell something and loose money doing it. Microsoft is making money of every console sold. Sony has lowered its price to a point where they are loosing money.Still without good sales.
That is quite bad.
So maybe you can get a better perspective then the childish comments about Microsoft, pricecuts and desperation. Hopefully Sony can turn it around someday.
Considering xbox makes a profit of every sold console but Sony has lowered the price to a point they are actually is loosing money, The ps3 sells is not that good..
Actually,...didn´t one in the team creating mgs4 state that that it could have been done on a 360 too...

Why assume that you have to buy all these things your talking about?
The wii doesn´t come with a harddrive, and its ment to be a "pick up and play no fuzz machine".
As is the arcade.. You can now get it at a lower price, with better games and better graphics then wii who is its competitor.
You get a great value from an arcade.
Why factor in things and costs that the arcadebuyer obviously has choosen NOT to buy.. Thats just silly
I think the winners of 2009 will be:
xbox 360 arcade (will sell like crazy)
Ps3 entry level models (will sell a lot more then the elite, who is its nearest competition)
Less wanted machines will be
xbox 360 elite (not good enough for its prize considering ps3 is not that much more expensive)
Nintendo Wii (the term "flop" doesn`t really apply, but it will see much weaker sales now with competition from MS)
