I surely hope so! I for one was disappointed with the lack of things to do in GTA4. In that sense, Saints row 2 is far superior. It´s just a shame that the story, graphics and driving sucks.
Sony should force (or maybe pay) developers to put extra content in the main game (compared to the 360-version). Everybody knows there´s room for it.
Microsoft shows that they mean war so Sony should do everything they can to strike back.
Don´t blame the developer blame dvd.

I rather play this game over gh or rockband anyday cuz this game will probably include music that I like (I´m not that into rock).
Sony should put pressure on the dev just as ms is doing. Sony should say: "if you gimpe the game to our console because of another console you will not be able to sell it on our console".
Sony should just play the same game as ms is doing.
Also, is there any proof that a multi platform game will have less TOTAL sales if it´s gimped on either console? Any examples?
Last guy Full game is also available, I just bought it from the swedish store (or is it the UK one? I never understood if we got our own store or got the same one as UK).

But that was to expected since their latest games weren´t the biggest selling games in the world.
But I do hope we´ll hear about it soon...
I´d say the most important thing about a console is the games and where Sony have created/distributed a lot of innovative games (where LBP, Echocrome, singstar and Buzz are some of the most recent ones) I haven´t seen any games from microsoft. Gears and halo aren´t innovative to me. The game I look forward to the most are the game team ICO is producing. Ico and shadow of the colossus was really something new to me that I haven´t seen before and both were great.
The only information I really need is about team ICO´s new game. That´s it! Those games are the best I have ever played, so different from all this we-are-all-the-same-fps and other games that brings nothing new to the table.
I think trophies should be used for unlocking things in the game so you get something for your effort. This is something I hugely miss in GTAIV.
I don´t see the point in bragging over what you have accomplished in a game, doesn't give me jack sh*t.
Rockstar or Sony needs to fix that "one or more players disconnected/ returning to single player" asap, don´t know who´s responsible for it.
I haven´t been able to play more than maybe 4 times online since I got it. F**k it´s making me angry, paying money for a game you can´t play online.

Why not take advantage of the consoles difference and make each game as good as it can be on that console?
I kind of feel that too many developers today don´t take advantage of the extra space a bluray-disc can hold.
What´s up with the online-part of the game? You can´t choose which server to play on and it takes a lifetime to get online and play and you always get thrown back to singleplayer because "one or more users disconnected...". I find it really really bad. I guess Rockstar hadn´t the time to create a great game when they needed to focus on two games at the same time...
Just too bad Rockstar doesnt think the same way, then we might have had a really great GTAIV....

Exactly what i was thinking! Thats why I´m a bit worried of all this wii-success. I want to continue enjoy the great experience a game with BOTH good graphics and gameplay that the PS3 gives me.
Great graphics and gameplay are way better than just great gameplay!
And what about the problem of fitting the game on a dvd without gimping it like several other multiplat games couldn´t deal with?
