Difference is noticeable. The reason why the 360 shot has Snow on it is because it's an optional thing in the game for deaf people ...
White Engine was the unofficial name for it. It was later renamed to Crystal tools. Look it up on wiki. There are many different variations of the Crystals Tools Engine. FFXIV is sing a different version. Nomura also commented back in 2007 how Versus will also be using a different version since it will release after XIII. It's a very very verstile Engine it seems.

Yup the majority of RPG gamers worldwide will choose FFXIII over ME2, the sales numbers will show that.

I don't see an issue.
Before you get excited you should know that this game has very little exploring.
You reach new locations by moving across a grid and then fighting random battles....
Can be different with RPG's. Many people just love running around exploring the environments, visiting the shops and listening to the nice music in the background.
One of the few times I agree with Square, especially judging from the small pics you can see in the latest magazine scans.

OMFG I am absolutely LOVING and this game right now.
It is truly epic.
The further you get in and the better it gets. Chapter 7 is truly the breaking point and it still gets better from there on.
