This is such great news by Sony! For me the playstation experience has been at its finest this year. I am so excited to see what our company has in store for us.
The more I read these articles, I can't help but feel more love for this company on so many levels. From share play to giving us updates consistently making sure our UI and software runs correctly. It just saddens me when people decide not to invest in a PS4...it really makes no sense. Fanboys will be fanboys I g...
@ftwrthtx What??? you've got to be kidding me. This looks like a brand new game on the PS4. Rockstar even went out of their way to put more focus on the PS4 version. They owe us anyway for all of that ridiculous exclusivity they did for xbox last gen.
As playstation gamers, we should take advantage of this opportunity. If GTA sells better on PS4, hopefully we can win Rockstar's loyalty again. Then maybe they'll release Agent or maybe make the next Red Dead Redemp...
Umm, okay? The Xbox is a good console and I don't regret my purchase. But how about 10 reasons why the PS4 is a great console?
Look, while both consoles have its issues, the PS4 definitely impressed me more this generation. The innovative games, UI, PS Plus free games and massive amounts of indie titles makes our console worth more than $399 in my opinion.
Again, great article but lets be fair and show some respect to both platforms?
While I agree, let's not forget about other contenders this year. It seems like everyone is so focused on Far Cry and Dragon Age Inquisition, but my personal GOTY is InFamous SS and The Last of Us Remastered.
Again, it just seems the gaming community continues to ignore the underdog titles every year. It's very sickening.
It's great to see Sony getting those demos rolling in. I'm so glad I invested so much on my PS4 this generation. I feel bad for those missing out.
Halo? You've got to be kidding me right? I think Xbox's weakest strength is multiplayer games. There is nothing on the xbox worth playing online in my opinion. I am not a fanboy, I own all 3 consoles.
Sony, no need to apologize. You've been remarkable this generation bringing us the best exclusives, PS plus service and online service. You've revolutionized the industry with share play.
If anything, the Playstation brand deserves more recognition and we should be paying more homage. Even those that only game on a Wii U, xbox one or PC should show its respect for what Sony has done for the industry. If it wasn't for playstation, we wouldn't have games period in my opi...
I completely disagree with you.
Jesus christ dude....
Another funny thing we ignore is how the Publisher is being cheated as well. Not just the consumer. We as consumers need to pay homage to companies like Sony. It's not entirely their fault that the developers abuse their contracts by lying to the publishers. Sony wants whats best for us, they have been loyal to us since 1995.
Imagine the possibilities if Ubisoft was owned by Sony? Imagine the GOTYs and awards they would receive due to having a near-perfect publisher makin...
It is that big of a deal. I have been a loving gamer since 1995 when I first purchased the PS1. Ever since Sony came into the picture, they have been mistreated continuously. I get emotional about this topic because of the childhood experiences Sony exclusives gave me. I grew up without friends, family and gaming has been the only "person" there for me. PS4 deserves it's respect for being the best console in years.
I don't know man, I'm just ready to g...
@thereapersson, We all know why this isn't making headlines. I'm not trying to start a flamewar but if this was a Sony exclusive, the headlines would be everywhere (Drive Club). To be honest, I am sick of this. I am sick to my stomach at the blatant biased gaming journalism. It makes me want to sell my consoles and give up on humanity. Everything Sony has done for the consumer, we as playstation fans deserve better.
I own both consoles and I haven't been able to ...
@Walker Funny.. opinions I guess. But I disagree. Call of Duty 2 was horrible. The best multiplayer games the last 3 gens were:
1. Killzone 1
2. SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs
3. Advanced Warfare
4. Call of Duty 4
5. MAG
I haven't experienced any issues on the PS4 version.
I have my copy on PS4 and I have yet to discover any issues. I think the majority of people are trolling because they hate Ubisoft.
Silly Reggie. But I respectfully disagree on so many levels. While Nintendo has a ton of exclusives, they continue to milk so many franchises. I mean, while mario is great, I feel like I've played these games before...year after year since 1985.
I prefer consoles that bring out new IPs, unique and original titles that push the graphical and multiplayer bar. And that's why I went with PS4 this gen. And this year sony continues to prove that. Killzone SF, Infamous SS, ...
This is really no surprise. This is by far the best COD in the series. Yes, even better than Call of Duty 4 IMO. What flatters me the most is that they primarily developed the game on PS4 for a change. The sony brand love gave me a reason to finally jump back into the cod scene. I just hated the biased crap we had to deal with last generation. Well done Activision!
Lol pumped for Halo 5? Well not sure about that. I've actually tried the beta and it's decent. I am not liking the COD mechanics that much but are you surprised? 343 is known for being attached the the latest "pop" game mechanics.
Back to Killzone SF.
I honestly don't think this is good for the gaming industry. This just encourages devs to develop more indies which isolates console production value.
I understand where you are coming from. I'm a huge LBP fan but I just feel a game should evolve visually to be considered next gen. For example, Project spark does everything LBP does, but with next gen visuals. I just think developers get lazy these days and they need to be called out on it.
Share play is by far the best gaming feature of all time. Sony is ready making me love them more and more. I can't express how awesome these guys are. I was in the military for 6 years and when I came home...the first thing I did was power up my PS3.
I purchased my PS4 at launch and I've never been happier.
