I'm in the same boat as you. It makes no sense to me, kratos story should be finished and this gameplay and tone does not feel God of War at all. Oh and they did the stupid fucking rocky/Rambo thing of naming sequels. If this game generates a sequel they are screwed for names, God of War 2a
Yea but they were never even close to that slow and that camera is throwing me off. Could just be for the prologue who knows. You want a more emotional story/character I'm all for it but don't take the amazing sense of scale , speed, and awesomeness I'm used to, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
I love that he gave a overall positive review but it's not enough for you people. Personally I want this game to be good but am unsure it will be. I know some like killzone but those games suck as much as cod. So I look at this game and think the world and gameplay and sound is good. Than I remember thinking that of killzone videos and I get scared. I'll wait to see more before making any decisions.

Good three points. Making the ps4 more powerful won't stop those who simply want more freedom, customization, and options. I have my ps4 for exclusives and multiplat for pc and that won't change no matter how much power that box has because it's still a very closed system.

We agree not everything has to be the last of us, especially not God of War. God of War is fast frantic hack and slash with amazing scope. I'm not like this camera view and slower pace but maybe this is just prologue and it will be more like the originals as the game progresses.

I'm sorry but your wrong. The last of us was great but God of War should mirror nothing about it. Honestly kratos journey should be finished so this feels money grab to me. The new camera mixed with the slower gameplay just doesn't feel God of War anymore. I will wait for more info but God of War 3 was an amazing game and ending so why change this game so much.
Hmmmm I got half what I wanted. I'm sure insomniac will do a great job but I was hoping for sucker punch. Looking at the two studios, SP to me creates higher quality visuals and cinematics, while creating a more lived in world. Insomniac games to me feel a little less grounded. Either way excited and hopeful since I haven't played a good spiderman game since spiderman 2.
It's really entertaining watch all you console people freak out and act like these new consoles are going to split the market. Pc have been different specs forever and yet there are no games exclusive to one pc over another.
