What an insult to Naughty Dog. Comparing them to a trash studio like 343, who hasn't even lived up to Bungie's Halo reputation, let alone Naughty Dog. A single developer at Naughty Dog has more talent in their pinkie than all of Microsoft entire studios combined.
That is like saying "Fallout 4 is a disappointment after playing Skyrim". Games from the same studio but trying to accomplish different things.

I'd like to see your $300 pc or laptop perform the same as these consoles. For $300 (this upcoming black Friday) these consoles are performing quite well.
That sounds like socialism talk there. "Everybody is a winner and lets have fun" No! Not everyone can be a winner, there need to be one superior console so fans of said console can berate other faboys of the opposing console. Console wars are serious business around here.
The cold hard truth is that gamers has gotten dumber with each passing console generation. Especially the young gamers that started gaming last generation or this generation. Console gaming has gotten much easier with a lot of hand holding.

The real joke is Nintendo's online network, its been 2 generation already and they are barely on par with sony's psn circa 2006.
Oh yes Nintendo, the only company out of the 3 whose main source of income is the gaming industry. While MS and Sony are invested in other area of Entertainment and Electronics, those two are more successful in gaming. Now why is that?

Those things that you pointed out are called tropes, typical horror movie tropes. This game is celebration of those tropes, and imo the developers did a pretty good job using those tropes.
