I was just about to say the same.
DmC PS3 121k: No numbers for the 360 version yet since it didn't chart.
Compared to other games in the series during their launch week in Japan:
DMC: 353k
DMC2: 309k
DMC3: 183k
DMC4: 253k
It ranked 7th in Ireland and 4th on PS3 in the Netherlands if anyone's interested. I guess its not out yet in other territories 'cause it's not in the top 10 or 20 in other parts of Europe.
Like the dress sphere in X-2?
About as old as the TV shows, lol.
Game Informer gave it a 7/10.
Concept: Journey to Studio Ghibli inspired lands in the name of saving a young boy's mother.
Graphics: Vibrant and detailed graphics make a beautiful experience.
Sound: Music drives certain scenes, adding intensity to the journey. The voice acting is impressive.
Playability: Ni no Kuni isn't easy to grasp, but once you pass the learning curve, it gets better.

Too bad this review won't get as much attention as the others on here.
Who can say? Famitsu reviews are about as reliable as IGN's.
Wow! It really does. ND should be flattered.
Assuming they reviewed a leaked copy of the game ( street dates are always broken ) and broke embargo, it shouldn't discredit their opinion.
Calling them fakes just because they didn't receive a review copy is just as unprofessional as the site which broke embargo, in my opinion.
Many bloggers purchase copies of games then post their review. Not everyone can get on a publisher's list for reviews copies but that shouldn't be held against them. ...
I'm as hyped for Versus as anyone else and I do think under Nomura's direction it will give us a sense of what the series used to be but after that it's unclear what the future holds for Final Fantasy.
I hope this sells well in the states and in Europe. Level-5 deserves the success.
This will be my first video game purchase of the year. :)
I agree. I'm still sinking time in WKCII online. Looking forward to this one as well.
Summary of the GMUK review for those who may not have seen it in the other review thread. :P
-The otherwise excellent story fades toward the end
-There's nothing here that's nearly as memorable as duking it out with Phantom and Virgil from the 2001 original
-New Dante is younger, meaner and swearier than his predecessor and-despite better voice acting-lacks that certain spark

DmC has been a no-buy for me since it was announced. Nothing's going to change that.
Gamemasters UK gave it an 89/100

I think it's quite telling how Sony doesn't have one inhouse developed jrpg to show for six years into the PS3's life cycle.
The company is pushing all other genres but they've not 1 first party jrpg. And what's coming out of Japan? Platformers ( Puppeteer ) and whatever Rain is.
I would love to see one of SCE's studios put as much marketing and resources into a good jrpg as they do Naughty Dog's IPs that can give Final Fantasy a ...
I thought we knew this already.
That's what I was going to say, lol.
