Quirk of the RE Engine. DMC5 is the only other native next gen game to see higher fps on Xbox.
There is Playstation Plus which is cheaper and gives new games every month. You also get a huge collection of games when you join.
No it isn't. For $100 more you can get the digital PS5 which plays actual next gen games at a higher resolution.
In this one thing Microsoft is 100% correct.
Which has added up over time to 670ish games so far.
Playstation Plus has been offering brand new games every month for PS5 since it launched. Lots of other worthwhile games too. Far more than Gamepass.
This is why I prefer Playstation Plus. Over 650 games and I never lose access to them.
The strategy is to double down on Playstation plus. We have been getting brand new games since the PS5 launched and now we are getting Wreckfest a month before the street date!
Couch co-op needs to make a big comeback.
I may be winning the lottery. Wish me luck, boys. Even if they do make a game for Microsoft it will be their B or C team. Their A team is making a new Goldeneye.
High praise indeed!
I miss Army of Two. Great couch co-op.
Without a hardware Kraken decoder they aren't going to be able to get same bandwidth of data that the PS5 can. It's true bandwidth is 17.38GB/s which leaves PC SSDs in the dust.
The incredible detail and amount of stuff going on at once on screen doesn't even seen possible. If the rest of the generation is like this for games taking for advantage of the unique aspects of PS5 we are in for a treat.
Kinda sorta but there is lots of grinding rails in the Ratchet and Clank games too.
The sheer amount of activity on screen at once is astounding
Compare Playstation Plus to Gamepass. I have over 650 games through Playstation Plus which is way more than Gamepass has.
@JEECE That was because the PS3 was a beast to develop for. The Series X and PS5 both use essentially standard PC parts but the PS5 is clocked higher which leads to FPS advantages.
Not really? The only time Xbox has outperformed PS5 is in backwards compatibility. In every next gen game the PS5 has better performance. That's not going to magically change in a year.
No, no its not. It's a short game.
