Glad you enjoyed it. I did as well.
I wouldn't listen to the people on the internet about the ending, oIITSBIIo. Like with anything, you need to make up your own opinion on that.
I don't get where you're getting this "ending based on every decision". There was supposed to be 16 endings, and if you check the official strategy guide, there was exactly 16 different endings. People chose to interpret it as a color change, but it clearly was more than that.
People have the mentality of "there is no Mass Effect without Shepard", so every game must have him in it in some way. Either playing as Shepard, or Shepard being mentioned, etc.
I got the message back in 2011 that Shepard's story ends with ME3, and I'm okay with that.
I chose to destroy the Reapers, Shepard lived, and my squad rescued me (EC). I don't see the issue either.
ME1's uncharted worlds were fun, but you have to admit, they didn't really have much to them, except a big open terrain with a couple buildings placed in random spots.
I destroyed the Reapers, Shepard lived, and I became a legend that overcame the biggest threat the galaxy has ever known. I don't see the issue here.
The ending was always intended to be open to your interpretation. Kind of funny how people claim there's not much choice when it came to the ending. Yet, they rely on Bioware to choose for them the correct ending interpretation (indoctrination or not).
Leviathan wasn't free. You had to pay $15 for it. The Extended Cut was free.
Shepard is alive as seen in the high EMS destroy ending.
Mass Effect does not revolve around Shepard, DarkOcelet. Shepard was just one hero in a universe of many heroes we have yet to meet. Not to mention plenty of interesting characters as well.
I did hear that too, Valenka. That the next game might be a stand-alone game. Not a new IP per say, because any Mass Effect game they make is part of the same IP. Think Dragon Age as one IP, Mass Effect as another. This new game will still have the Mass Effect feel to it. It won't be ...
The combat was more fluid in ME3. You couldn't do combat rolls, grab enemies from cover, or hit them with heavy melee attacks (omni-blade/biotics, etc) in ME2. I much prefer ME3's combat to ME2's.
I did ask for exploration in this game and it seems that's what it's focusing on, judging by the teaser trailers I've seen with the Mako and such.
Sounds good. Should give my graphics card a run for it's money. Not to mention lots of VRAM for those HD textures.
Who said the mass relays were destroyed? The Starchild? People believed him? I'd trust Admiral Hackett more than him. The Crucible only targets Reapers, as Hackett mentioned. Mass relays are unharmed, and no one is stranded.
It was said that the next game will be as big as Dragon Age Inquisition in terms of content. Not sure how much that is, but it's certainly not a small DLC that could be developed in a couple months.
Shepard's story is over though. Would be pretty hard to make a game which involves Shepard in any way (main character or supporting) as 99% of the endings, Shepard is dead.
Stop telling Bioware how to make their games or what decisions they should make with their franchise. If they want to release a version of the trilogy on next gen consoles, fine.
Think you get to tell them what they should or should not being doing with their franchise? Or what decisions they should or should not make.
Your post reeks of entitlement.
Gamer entitlement: The bane of gaming. Gimmie gimmie generation at its finest. Wants things that were "cut from the game" to be included for free even if they weren't advertised to them. If it wasn't advertised, you aren't entitled to it.
If the day 1 DLC wasn't advertised, you're not entitled to it. It's premium content, and you should pay for it.
Hey, Windows 7 Home Premium comes with certain Ultimate features locked on the disk. We should demand Microsoft to give us the stuff they owe us as part of the whole package.
Yes, Bitlocker, a feature of Ultimate is included in the main package, but it's locked away. Need a license key to unlock it. Much like Windows XP Home had Pro...
And expansion packs weren't chopped out and sold to you a year later? It's still content that was used with the game.
Like I said, you just want everything for free. First it'll start with day 1 DLC included in the game for free at launch.
Next you'll move onto getting the "cut content" missions that were sold as DLC. The big 4 hour missions that some guy slaved away for months making?
Capitalism 101. Exchange goods ...
Initially before Bioware teamed up with EA, Microsoft published the first game.
