@azzanation they didn't drop the whole xb1, the ps4 power supply is internal adding weight was what most likely didn't power up. The real test would require dropping xb1 power supply as well which they didn't.
The fanboy stuff is getting old, but the "resolution doesn't matter" is old and cliche. If resolution didn't matter we would all be playing ps1/saturn/n64 (because they are the first popular 3d consoles)on our 480i tube televisions and watching movies on VHS tapes in our VCR's.
Ms have been known to use these tactics before.
I can agree with you. I like my PS4 and XB1 just the games don't wow me yet. I remember buying my 360 popping in Gears and going wow,I'm still waiting on my new consoles to do that.
I agree as long as we leave our wallets open letting game makers stick their hands in anytime they please they will do whatever they want. Close those wallets I bet they snap to. The games aren't going any where show them the consumer is in charge not them.

@raWfodog exactly!! We need a balanced ecosystem. When one company gains too much dominance they start to get to big for their britches. If Sony dominates they want to charge too much for their hardware, MS they want to lock us all down with DRM, Nintendo they wanna control our youtube rights. The point is balance keeps all in check.

The Xb1 version runs badly the ps4 version runs a little worse so all you care is that Xb1 runs better than the ps4. Lol

The conversation is about the current gen system you don't get to throw the Ps3 in there to inflate the cost. What does it cost for hardware to play AC Unity at least that's what I'm referring to as well as the article. I have Xb1,PS4,and a gaming rig I even bought AC4 on steam I'm no fanboy. Throwing the Ps3 in there to inflate come on.
