you're right about the fact that xbox section has more games, but most of those games are crap which no one buys. Maybe you should check out the PS2 section which is bigger than anything else ...

Gears 2 came out after only 1 year because it already had the engine. Making the engine probably is the hardest thing you can do. After you have the engine, everythin is smooth sailing from there.
You think Killzone 2 had a bigger budget than Gears or Halo? You don't know that for sure. How do you know Guerilla had $50 million?

My personal opinion, no RTS will ever appeal to me after playing End War. If this is anything like End War, im not buying it. Im downloading it right now.

Then why did 2007 favor ps3 sales? Why did ps3 sales equal 360 sales in 08, what would xbox do w/o a real halo game 09? Lets face it... kids buy xbox because most of their friends have one. The only adults that buy an xbox are reviewers, hardcore gamers who have all systems and people who don't research before they buy.
it might not cause RROD, but you have to remember that xbox updates dont reinstall everything with the update, like Sony does which is why their updates take around 10 min. They just simply patch.
The pros and cons of patching it are:

Who, sir are you to call someone an idiot. You in turn are the idiot to not know that there was only 1 such update, and it did not crash your system. It just wouldn't allow you to play games, but it was also fixed very shortly. And I don't recall the ps3 servers being taken down since it was released.
im a die hard COD fan, and im used to this too, but the cover system makes the game really fun, and also, like i said before, there is much more pleasure killing someone in K2 than COD4

i agree... but COD 4 is still the best game in books... that is... until killzone comes out. I really love the way the guns function. At first i hated it, because it was so hard(i guess im used to the guns in COD 4), but when i played it, i loved the guns. They made the game soo much more fun, there so much more pleasure when killing someone in K2 than COD4, and believe me, im a die hard COD fan.
i have friends who are on their 2nd, 3rd, and one of my friends just got this problem.
Looks like i wont be buying this game anymore because 1 out of 10000000 reviewers gave it a low score...

i think the ps3 has some pretty good single player games... Even though they might be half TPS(third person shooter), they are really fun.
