actually xbox sold a lil better than gamecube, but one note we can agree - xbox always was behind playstation.

PS3 is best console right now, best games library and thats the reason Im not moving onto current gen yet.

Playstation always wins over Xbox, thats normal.
Of course X1 has the best games, thats why both PS4/WiiU beat it in both software and hardware sales.
Nintendo wont scrap WiiU thats for certain.
Its gonna probably sell somewhere between NES and SNES.
And Im pretty sure Nintendo will enter next-gen first.
I dont defend them and Ive never owned their systems, but they are doing a good job, lets see how they fare next year, when the true battle for current gen will begin.

Over a million people bought PS4 day one, this question has been answered by them.
PC is superior in hardware terms, but pretty much every multiplat title sells better on consoles.
Currently and always best system is PC.
From consoles best is PS3, most variable library and support for at least 2 more years, and most importantly - huge amount of JRPGs (not as much as previous Playstation consoles though).
WiiU with lack of 3rd parties and RPG/strategy genres is a moderate choice now. And You can emulate Wii games on PC with HD-like visuals.
Im buying games from ebay.co.uk for ~20-25euros(delivery included).
I just have patience, but those who wanna get day one, of course will have to pay 2-3x more.

Until Destiny arrives, this will be sufficient to build up the momentum.
And then in the fall, lots of big hitters will start coming.
I think PS4 should easily close this year with 15m units(total)sold or more.
Im certain this game will be huge, probably game of the year, gonna receive lots of awards and high scores (hopefully), but Im just not into online FPS games, so no matter how great it turns out, I wont be touching it.
But Im glad consoles are getting this great system seller this September. Good work, Bungie.
