Very unlikely they'll price it at 300-400 unless Sony is willing to take a hit. Knowing how money hungry Sony is these days, they won't. Expect 500-600 as a more realistic price range.
Expecting a whopping $500-600. If Sony is willing to take a hit then it might be $400-450, but knowing Sony these days that will never happen. And honestly, I believe it'll be about as successful as the PS Move... It's not hard to spot a flop from miles away.
Uh oh, looks like PS VR won't be anywhere near as good as some hype it up to be. You could really smell a flop from miles away. The masses will eventually catch on. That's billions of dollars potentially wasted.
VR will change gaming about as much as motion controls did...
That shouldn't be a problem with disk-based BC on PS4. Sony didn't have to go through all that licensing to get nearly every PS1 game working on the PS3... The feature was just there.
The game is amazing only because of the story, the cinematics, and the graphics. The gameplay is average and repetitive like Uncharted in my opinion.
My list of games that should come to the PS4
1. Full BC for PS2 games
Looks exactly like the game running in Project 64.
I can't wait to play this amazing Sony PS4 console exclusive on Microsoft Windows in glorious 4K!
Unless you're delusional, expect a whopping $500 or more for PS VR. No way it will cost a lot less than Oculus.
Remember when PS owners bashed paying to play online, only to defend it now that Sony ripped a page out of MS' book?
Remember when PS owners bashed MS fans for "hyping" up Xbox 360 BC on the Xbox One, only to defend Sony's half-assed BC for a console two generations old?
"Also I managed to scam Sony as I got a refund for both while they are still on my HDD playable."
LOL that's amazing! Good job. You are a true hero.
LOL!
Oh my almost spilled my drink all over my laptop reading this!
Looks like Sony is getting desperate as not enough people buying these in droves.
The Order 1886 doesn't have the best graphics this year. That title goes to Rise of the Tomb Raider.
I was as anti-MS as ever last generation, and a huge PS3 fanatic (still am today). I am not happy with the direction of Sony this generation. Microsoft giving me what I wanted Sony to give me on the PS4 made me switch to Xbox One. This was a year before the announcement of backward compatibility mind you, but top quality AAA exclusives, great selection of games from XBL Gold, multimedia features out of the box, external hard drive support won me as a former Sony fanboy over. Backward compatib...
Nothing Sony does can surprise me at all. They have gone full on greed this generation and the PS4 shows that in almost every aspect. Why trademark Let's Play if they have no intention of doing something nefarious or cashing in on the community?
The true colors of Sony, using their success of the PS4 against their fans. Also, them investing billions of dollars on the PS VR, they'll want to recoup all of that back with any cheap way they can.
Don't see what the issue is with getting PS2 disks working on the PS4, or having your PS2 classics purchased on PS3 carry over. PS2 is older than the hills and you have PC emulators from the basement running PS2 games directly from the disk, at whatever resolution your PC uses.
The real story is, Sony simply doesn't want to. They just want to rake in all the money they can for anything. All the excuses in the world will not change that. PS4 is the only console this ge...
Sony said the same with the PS Vita selling at a loss
