that's exactly what was said when that Anonymous promises revenge on Sony article was posted here on N4G by the way. Also posted by the same people. But thanks for your moronic opinion.
I can't see a easy way to make this crap go away. Anonymous needs to let Sony go so they can seperate the networks as far as security goes. PSN should not be hit because Anonymous is trying to close their stores.
Anonymous needs to let well enough alone!
Too late for me. I already paid much more for it. lol
The Karl Urban pick is dead on in my opinion.
I agree. There may be a change in the entire industry before long as we see more company's trending to this though. The thought that one day all games will be downloadable only may be true. Until that day they are deeply entrenched in the packaged goods market. more than 70% for revenue.
They are just revamping the idea of longevity for certain titles to have more staying power for profitability. This is a good move on their part. Some people didn't read the article it seems.
I saw this coming. Only makes financial sense.
Makes me wonder if these artist can freestyle like tatoo artist. If so they would make a mint!
That was a growing year. This is a downsize year. In business this is a year that will get people replaced, game plans revised, company goals re-adjusted and a true fight to not have big bites taken from them in the multi-million dollar lawsuits that are almost assured to come following the recent chain of events. This makes year one a holiday for Sony.
E3 can't get here soon enough it seems.
This whole year has been a challenge for Sony in every way it seems. I hope they can come out on top after all this year has brought to them so far.
as your example article stated, A data breach last year at Princeton, N.J., payment processor Heartland Payment Systems may have compromised tens of millions of credit and debit card transactions. Isn't 77 million users somewhat in the neighborhood of tens of millions? Second this article stated that This event could dwarf all other security breach hacks on record to date in regards to - theft of identity data information.
smart move on Sonys part to take it down before any of their customers info was taken. It will be back better than ever.
It's a paragraph of BS. Not one word can be verified. Should be regarded as a rumor at the best...if that.
This is not confirmed and should be regarded as rumor. It looks like a Spam hit rocket fired from the middle of nowhere. One paragraph of BS and gets this much aggravation stirred. Amazing.
I agree. It stopped us from playing. We paid for the games so we could use them as described in the advertisement. Playing online is important to gamers that only buy the game for those features.
@beavis4play- I realize games can be played OFFLINE. So you are one one the gamers that buy a game and never go online with it I see. You and I are different! I buy the game hoping to spend somre time with my friends who also BOUGHT the game! You need top grow up little man. Games are not cheap today and we only want them to work in the way they were advertised to us before we bought them. So getting online makes it important to gamers that actually GET ONLINE TO PLAY.
what good is a game if you can't get online to play it? Gamers want only one thing, Not to be caught up in the middle of crap that don't concern them. We pay for games we expect to be able to play.
Only GamerCrypt would what? Report to the gamers the news that is tracked in the Wall Street Journal? You my friend have issues. Accept the fact that not all news is good news to you. We as gamers need to know this stuff. Even if we don't like the content. If you don't want it real then don't look for gaming news. Go look for a happy place that will make you feel better, Like the PSN blog.
