I had an xbox 360, used it for an hour and never touched it again. I had a PS3, used it for a month and never touched it again. Meanwhile, the whole generation I was actively using my Wii and buying games for it; I still am.
They did already, several times.
I've bought systems for 1 game before. I bought a PSP for Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep and I bought a PS3 for Prototype. These were the only games I ever bought on either system. Some series/games are worth purchasing a system for and this is coming from someone who only has money for 1 or 2 games a year (but doesn't always buy one).

Edit: sorry replied to the wrong person.
The Wii U can support 2 gamepads; there isn't any games that take advantage of this yet though mainly because you can't buy gamepads separate from the console as of yet.
so they're mostly the same for this game except the Wii U has better fire, better textures on some of the bigger character model things like the giant and the squid/octopus thing(not sure what it is exactly), and some better lighting in a couple areas...I'm still not buying this game (because I can't afford much more than 1 game a year D;)
Basically none of the Wii U owners care about the game going multiplatform. All of the Wii U owners just want the game that is finished and just had to be shipped out to actually come out this month instead of the huge delay to a month when nobody will care about it at all. I'm willing to bet that the game would've sold a couple million copies if it came out this month since no other games would be competing with it, people were going to buy the console for it, and everyone just want ...
There isn't anything wrong with the way Nintendo does its digital stuff. It's just a matter of knowing what you're supposed to do when something goes wrong unlike this Jon person. Had he known what he was supposed to do, he wouldn't of lost anything...
As long as they put back in the scrapped dungeons, everyone will be happy and buy it; nuff said.
Put the dungeons that were cut since they thought the game was too long back in. Nuff Said.
If that's true then there's absolutely no reason not to port things to the Wii U in terms of cost! Such a small amount of money would only need a couple ten thousand sales to turn a profit as far as I can tell.
Part of the problem is probably developers intentionally making games less difficult as the years go by.
