If you want a terrifying game which messes up your mind play Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I'd challenge any gamer playing this first time in the pitch dark with surround sound not to be scared.

I have a 1 mb connection and I can still give as good as I get online. True some games are choppy and host advantage is ridiculous sometimes, but I get sick of hearing people with 10x my speed still whining about lag.

Absolutely loved the first game, although I was never good enough to get far. Plus it used to creep me out a bit. First game I ever played where you could control anothers mind...and make them explode into pieces! Got to love Abe.

Much as I liked Fahrenheit, I really loved the atmosphere of Heavy Rain - I thought it to be a unique experience since I only recently bought a PS3 for the exclusives.
He tried something new, and it really paid off. I'm sick to death of developers spewing out polished Hollywood gun porn - games like Heavy Rain, Shadow of the Colossus and Okami really renew my interest in games.
Is this the original Portal that came with the Orange Box? I imagine so but if not will definitely snap it up.

I'm not sure why, but when I think of an atmospheric game that's set in the streets, I don't think of GTA or Crackdown or other sandbox games...I think of Resident Evil 2. Strange, since I haven't played that game for absolutely years!

Last I remember Alyx used to smile? I really liked her feisty and whimsical demeanour in HL2, and I guarantee they'll give her the moody makeover in the sequel, with Fakefactor attributing it to the death of that certain someone close to her.

Is this article serious? I mean talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. Cole is Cole - he's cool, badass, and I can imagine him looking just like that before the Locust invasion spurred him to wear the COG armor. Its neither racist or insensitive. Exaggerated perhaps, but is this really such a big deal?
That is one good price - I own't preorder but looking forward to hearing how good it is.

It never ceases to amaze me how utterly gullible people are. Yes, please wait until our current story is over and THEN we'll tell you about how our country is under attack.
This stale and repetitive franchise needs to be put to rest - although at least it has drawn away a lot of the preteen whiners from other decent titles. I really liked COD4 but as far as I'm concerned every sequel since then is the equivalent to an update. Which you pay for.
