I'm amazed he is getting away with all the good things he is doing for the customer, Microsoft is a company that generally tries to "lock" you into their products and then NOT give you what you want. (because they don't have to) Profit and total control of any market they enter, it must "eat at them" that they cannot get a foothold in the Cellular OS market, Super computing and Console gaming (I'm talking about near monopoly control of these markets) That is wh...

They created the puppets because it was getting embarrassing
coming out on stage in person to tell everyone that they have nothing good to show the audience.

Phil Fish, yeah, he is a disgusting person in looks and personality.

Usually he addresses complaints with his middle finger and a "don't like it, don't buy it" attitude.

why would they endanger PS now?

someone angry about Sony releasing a decent media player? or announcing games people have been begging for for years?
must not own a Playstation.

@alphaomega88, audacity? I said that they need to make some games without the same characters, not, don't make games with mario and gang ever again. you cannot be so banal to think 3 or 4 sequels of a good game is somehow the same as 30 plus YEARS of making variations on the same theme with the same characters (now that is what I call banal!). The Playstation console isn't called the uncharted console because all Sony makes is different variations of games with Nathan Drake as the &qu...

I have really got to be honest here, Sony really looks to be trying to make their customers happy, announcing games that people have been pining for for years, releasing a "real" media player with multiple container and format support, specifically MKV. In a way, this is one of their best E3's, games and feature wise it even beats the E3 release of the PS4.

@alphaomega88, I have to agree with Highlife, Nintendo might have been innovative 30 years ago but, all they do now is live on their past and the fond memories of grown up Nintendo kids. they really need to step outside of the steel reinforced, 20 foot thick concrete box and NOT make a game with the same rouges gallery of Nintendo characters. after all, pizza is great, and you can put all different kinds of toppings on it but, after a while people are going to get tired of all kinds of pizza ...

It's written worse than one of those 419 Nigerian scam emails.

Yeah, the Attorney for the former King Mufasa, would like to deposit twenty million spacebucks into your checking account for a short period of time and he will pay you with five Morpheus (RealEyes) VR head units and the all new Move controllers.

I like the part where you use rating systems to choose what games you think are good or not.

how would you know what to buy unless there were people out there to tell you? blah....

Remember, MS is big with showing "concepts" and touting Big things in store for the "future"! but, it never really happens....

you never see another presentation or hear about it again, but, same time next year, they are touting ANOTHER magical innovation, concept or whatever, that will be ready "some time in the near future"

@Azzanation, Um, they didn't "just remove kinnect"
They had to change the whole way the Xbone operated as well as remove kinnect. You don't remember the "always on" DRM and the disc becomes worthless after installation and the whole Licence buyback program ect, ect, ect.

Ms had to drastically change what the Xbone was to even sell them to the informed, smart consumer. anyone who thought it was worth the money and bought it before all the D...

Agreed, If you look past all the cruft and really get down to the nature of Microsoft, total control and dominance is their end game. They enter a market, buy, marginalize or outright kill the incumbent players. after they get a certain level control of the market they start to dictate unreasonable changes to the way things have always been done and call it "innovation" or "bringing the market into the future, for it's own good" Translation: maximizing profits without...

I think you have things backwards, my good fellow.

Microsoft are the kings of hype and vaporware, their whole business relies on a narrative of "The amazing things to come" sometime in the future.

They are big with emotional music and talking about "the future outlook and potential" of whatever they are trying to sell. and then years go by and....nothing, all the fancy talk and amazing future just disappears, never to be spoke of again. un...

Yeah, we all cowered in AWE when MS engineers and Phil himself stated that DX12 will not do much for the Xbone.

I guess "ponys" is supposed to be some sort of insult, it smacks of 2 dimensional thinking. Just using it makes the user come off as an ancestor of the Flathead empire.

It's logic, Rockstedy001 but, of course you have no clue what that is.

MS created the Xbone, a weaker console than its competition, and that's really not the problem, on top of that they tried to hold the whole gaming community hostage with its poorly thought out DRM scheme...or scam, that Thankfully FAILED, essentially turning the Xbone into a kick yourself device. https://www.youtube.com/wat...
