"The Darkness...It's where I live."
it always seems to screw me up when you are dealing with allot of enemies.
Is for Sony to release a disc with a bunch of the exclusive PSN games. Kinda' like what MS does with the "arcade" titles. I would be more conducive to buying a disc with 6 to 12 PSN games than buying all of them online. I am very careful when it comes to getting PSN games and I only own six of them, Flower, magic ball, Flow, Pain, High Velocity Bowling and Blast Factor.
out of them I would probably never have gotten the bowling game and blast factor.
nothing else ...
I really don't want to download ALL my games. and if I download a game I sure as heck am not going to spend more than US15.00 on it. The bad aspect of DLing games is the restrictions put upon the Consumer. I Will always take a nice Disc, case and manual that I can lend, sell or trade over something that sits on my hard drive and cannot be saved to a memory stick or burned to a disc and archived or even transferred to anyone else.
Sure, it is good business for the developer and di...
Examples of this are:
"It was his Parents fault" or " His obsession with Video games was the catalyst for his violent act"
They are just hollow justifications by Attorneys and "experts" to defer the responsibility of the heinous act off the perpetrator an on the shoulders of a third party to either reduce the sentence of their client or to justify an agenda (EG: Jack Thompson)
The shadow and light effects in MLB 09 The Show are quite impressive, for example Albert Pujols comparison you can see light shining on his cheek through the ear opening on the helmet. just about All the comparisons show MLB 09 the Show to have better light and shadow effects, also, The MLB 2k9 on the 360 is doing something that The PS3 3rd party developers usually do, all the models are real "soft" looking like they modeled them with a velvet texture, which equates to them looking ...
I'll wait for a fansub.
what the 360-ites are doing is trying to in any way possible show that the PS3 is no more reliable than the poorly designed 360.
They want to be able to say: " See, Sony's console is just as much of a piece of cr@p as the 360"
The problem is that the PS3 isn't and that the burning hot embers of the RROD are making them desperate to justify the continued loyalty to a Company that treats them like second class citizens.
Last months Gameinformer had a big spread on it. The time dilation gimmick looks to be pretty neat, like restoring rusted and destroyed cat walks and stairs to move forward.
The only thing that was really funny and then became annoying is every time you moved Riddick into a shadow or into any dark area he would say " The darkness, where I live.) or some such phrase, it was funny talking with the "super cool" Riddick voice and repeating that to the point of distraction. I stopped playing after like the 25th time he said that... blah
I personally really like magic ball, Yeah, I know that you can play it on the PC but playing it on a 100" screen is so much more fun. ( heck, playing anything on a 100" screen is more fun)
They have been doing this for years, they are very paranoid and because of their monopoly position in the OS market, they seem the think that being Number one in everything regardless of how good/bad you are at something is a right for them and not something that they have to work for.
Of course they are going to question Sony's numbers, How dare Sony have a bigger piece of the Pie then they do!! After all, they are Microsoft! It kills me that no one questions Ms numbers, even their co...
the only FPS on the 360 that even comes close to competing with Killzone 2 is the Halo franchise, It is an old game by comparison and nothing has come out that can top it on the 360? just think about what I am typing: there is no FPS out there on the 360 since the release of Halo 3 almost two years ago that can be compared to Killzone 2. That is just kind of sad. Just makes me glad that I bought a PS3 and placed it on its own shelf in my theater room above my 360.
what the designer of the main Processor core for both the the Cell and the Xenon said was that the risc core processors in the 360 and the PS3 were about the same, he did not comment on the CELL processors SPEs because he did not work on that aspect of the CELL processors design. so the Cell and the Xenon are about the same if you don't take the SPE's into account on the CELL.
Killzone 2 themed minigame in the style of house of the dead. nothing like a free game similar to one of the featured titles on the Wii (eak).
at bay.
The PS3 may not be at the top but, Sony is moving consoles. and to be frank, If MS doesn't get off it's A$$ and Fix that poorly designed console of theirs it is going to start hurting them more and more. I personally am a convert, after 2 RROD I had enough, and even though I still have my 360 I only use it for netflix and the occasional exclusive. if it go's out of warranty before it fails that will be the last one I get.
As for games, the PS3 looks to have a stronger line up than MS th...
does any remember Need for Speed: Porshe extreme? (I think that was it's name) I loved driving up into the mountains and the weather would get real bad and it would be snowing real hard. Man, I love that. Or Call of duty (I think the first one on the PC) with the wooded winter and the muffled sound effects the sound of your feet crunching in the snow and the dogs barking in the distance. Maybe I like games with snow in them because I don't live in the northeast anymore.
It actually was a pretty well built an fun machine, I remember walking down the street in my town and on the ground in front of me was the Lynx cartridge of Rygar, man I played that game over and over again an ended up selling the Lynx with that game. weird...
To be frank, I really don't care if there are 100 games a year released on the 360. Until the reliability is "at the least" on par with industry standards I will always lean toward the PS3 as my main console.
What good is a game if you cannot finish it? Mr. Anderson... :P
