I thought this was going to be a joke but I was very impressed after watching the tech demo. Now I am actually looking forward to trying this out ..

While you guys were busy writing checks Sony was busy coming up with great new IP's and franchises. Have fun with your old tired franchises, ever heard of sloppy seconds?
Next gen MS will be busy trying to buy Uncharted, Motostorm, Infamous, etc... You get the picture. Its cool though Sony has the largest internal dev team out of the three.
It really is sad, its also very gay how the 360 fanboys want Sony fans to be really mad and upset. MS and its loyal fanboys deserve each other because well, they both suck..

The first thing on that list was "Steal metal gear", "give Kojima confidence on XBOX", and "make the other camp mad". Spoken like a true MSXBOT.
With all that money they should be able to do something besides write checks and ride Sony's coattails.
Besides the motion control guys, I wonder who else they wrote a check to. Hell if they would just give us that each year we would be able to guess what it is.
They have been riding Sony's coattails for way too long, trying to buy everything that made the PS brand. Its time they do something interesting and original.
I will do this article one better. I remember way back in the day, even before the internet was in homes, when you just had to roll the dice and buy a game based on teh boxart on the back. I bought a lot of games like that.
It doesnt have to be one or the other. I have INFAMOUS and it is one of the best games I have ever played. If PROTOTYPE is just as good then it is a win win situation.
The more quality games the better people.
I am in the same boat but I already bought INFAMOUS and it is freakin awesome so no matter what happens with prototype you cant go wrong picking up INFAMOUS.
I wont trust reviews on these two because of the reasons already mentioned. Wait until its in gamers hands to decide. Also, I would think there will be a demo for P-TYPE.
-PS3 super fanboys are going to turn this into "INFAMOUS is so much better than PROTOTYPE", even though they get it as well.
-360 super fanboys will (are) be saying "INFAMOUS is garbage and PROTOTYPE is so mucn better"

It really is a lose lose situation when a company gets so full of themselves they feel they can do whatever they want and everything is fine.
They should be releasing their second game in 2010 not their first.

PS3 owners have been enjoying great 1st party engines for a while now. I think 360 owners need this more so they can retire that old man known as UE.
Seriously though, stop with the tech demos and show us a great running game with it..
This game looks so freakin amazing. Naughty Dog and GG should hold clinics on how to program for the PS3. Oh wait they do, the future is looking nice for games.

Anyways, A f@*^ing Sony sales rep wouldnt know dik about this anyway. Big things like this are on a need to know basis and the less the better because of leaks.

believe on console games they have to make them both very similar. I think they do this intentionally to keep both camps happy, its also one reason as a PS3 owner I shy away from most multi-plats.
I just dont feel right spending 60 on something that was half baked.
