what are u smoking? the ps3 sold about 7 million the first year, which would make it about 5-6 million for the second year for the moment.
i think the second year sales of the ps3 will come very close to the ps2 sales.

So, remember that the PS3 was release 6 months after in EU than the US, so there could have been a few more units counted into the first year. The price was also a killer for most people as well. ps3 is selling as well as the ps2 at THIS POINT in is life cycle and it is already outselling the 360 in the same amount of time worldwide
all of those casual players, which made up a lot of that 115 million, which is more like 120+ million, are not going to by a $400+ console.
