Maybe they plan to bring a console out this gen that will actually be "this gen" to compete with the aperant longevity of the xbox360 and PS3. dont think we willl see a new iteration of thoose to for a few years yet.
gaming without a controller has been tried Before by nintendo (u-force 1989 for the nes http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... and sony (eyetoy 2003 for the ps2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... and neither worked out well, i cant see why will it be any differnt this time. let me be proved worng it will be kinda cool if it finally works.

perhaps i should of put more precise rather than better, and the real games bit was a dig at ms not nintendo,I just cant see how NATAL is going to work. red steel two does look good, and RE4 was good with the wii mote,
lol Power glove was ace. but BTW it wasnt Designed or made by nintendo, it was just licensed by them for use with the NES in the late 80s, i cant remember who made it but i will look it up for you. wasnt it featured in the film the wizard?
the bow demo was pretty similar, but the rest of the demo showed just how much better the PS3 version is better than the wiis, and that it could be used in real games, unlike Some other forms of motion sensing technology.

i think it depends how MS and sony use the Tech, sony could easily use this controll method in all their current games and new games. becuase it has buttons and analog sticks. + third party developers could port wii games ove to use with the PS3 remote.
cant see much use for NATAL though except for mini games and the user interface, might be good for RTS or Basic sport games like wii sports though, but with out buttons it may be limited. but im willi...
but if it is 1.1 movement recognition like it says it is, you owuld be looking the wrong way so you wouldnt see what was beside you in game anyway
i agree natal will be cool for some games like bowling or tennis, but i just cant see how it will work with more complex gameswithout having any buttons, maybe microsoft will suprise us but for now i dont really see this as much more than an improved eye toy

i think it will be multi plat, and maybe a sperate story line, and then make MGS5 ps3 exclusive. MGSR2 could then be a sequel to this one and again be multiplat.

it was this site that said last week that there sources say a Redesigned ps3 will be available at E3
good news, looks like its going to be a decent game. it doesnt say wether it will be a timed exclusive like the first one or not though.
PS3 slim could make a dent in the 360 sales in NA. it will add a whole new buzz to the PS3 and vastly increase sales. probably on a temporary increase and then back down to where they are now. unless it comes with a price cut. still will be cool and good for sony, as it would surely be cheaper to produce.
