i think the dev actually said the god of war 3 uses 50% of the game engines power. they didnt say how much of the ps3s powere the engine used though, so there is still a lot more to come.

so did mine, i got mine in 89 i think might of been a little bit later.
most of the kids here will prbably of never had the joy of playing a master system, for a lot of people here gaming started with the ps2. but us oldies no how great the system was. i still have mine, along with my megadrive, both in perfect working order.

VG chartz, STILL have not updated their guess to the real numbers that were published by all 3 companies on 31/12/09. And they are still millions out for all 3. untill they at least ge tclose to the latest real numbers, we should not take any notice of this.
not long at all, hopefully though we will still have loads of new AAA titles to play alongside all of the wii ports(shovelware)
That is pretty much what everyone has been recomending to do since the problem started, and it still doesnt work for most of us. i think this is one that is going to need a patch.
i don't think i got my point accross very well in my last post,
what i meant is that reviews have differant standards for each platform, a prime example would bee ff13, it currently has 83 on metacritic for the 360 version and 82 for the ps3 version, even though most reviewers agree that the ps3 version is slightly better.
if deadly premonition or the last rebellion came out on the wii they would probably score 10s for everything, but as they are ps3 and xbox games,...
the meta scores are not really a good indication TBH, reviewers use a higher standard for PS3 games than 360 games, so maybe mass effect 2 is worthy of a 96 on xbox 360 but it might not be considered the same on the ps3.
for example. mass effect 2 got a 10 on graphics from ign (i think) whilst god of war 3 got 9.5, but if mass effect 2 was competing with ps3 graphics it would be less.

very good review from them, there wasnt any major spoilers in the vid, just some minor ones. not sure why its "only" a 9 based on what he was saying.

this is a good blog, but i personally consider the wii as a late entry to the last generation of consoles, and not the current generation.
if there is anybody here worried about it, you can just choose not to download it in the update section, or just turn off automatic updates if your not that confident with it.
if anyone with a genuine copy gets a message saying that it is a pirated copy, there are programs you can use to remove the watermark anyway.
looks like MS wont have the pirates beat in this round.
