Majority of people are gonna go by price, bottomline. If you can get a stand alone player for $299 vs $799 your gonna see alot more HDDVD players being sold. 1080i always is supposed to look better than 720p but not by much as 720p is supposed to run a little smoother. I personally dont see much difference, most people will see none. Go with 1080i and people that say 1080p are full of sh@t. There is no noticable difference from 1080i to 1080p. Look for yourself, its all hype!
Haha, PS3 owners once again get to play another inferior port version of what 360 owners already got to play a year ago. Yea, over for the PS3 lol. Nobody wants one of those overpriced worthless machines, no games. Absolutely no reason to blow $600 on that bulky piece of overhyped junk. HD is cheaper and more people will buy an HD player because of the price, not to mention there is no difference between the 2 in picture quality you moron. Go for 1080i, do not waste your time with 1080p. It in no way is worth the extra bucks, most people will notice no difference. Drop the price all you want, it still wont matter cuz there are no games. King Kong on the 360 was probably the best movie game. Check out the ratings for that one, playing as Kong was a blast. I would give Pirates a 6 outta 10 for graphics alone. I had my 360 from Jan 1st 2006, just took a dump on me after a little over a year. I still had my receipt from Walmart, looked kinda old too. What i did was folded the receipt over and rubbed it together where the 1 and the 6 were untill you could barely see it. The barcode too on the receipt was a little faded as well.
