Yea, and the only reason ign gave it a 7.8 was because of the story and tedious errand side missions. Other than that, they praised the hell out of the rest of the game! They should not have lowered the score because of such unimportant gripes like that.
Thats because most people are judging it by a weak demo and have no idea what theyre talking about! I played the entire game from start to finish and had a hard time putting it down! Most games i never finish because i get bored fast, but i dont know the game held me till the end.
I mean, all the rave reviews and all. Ive played all the DMC games and i loved this one. Kinda had an old school feel to me too. Great game and story, people need to give it a chance.
