That RE remake on the Gamecube is the best RE game of all time! If you have not played this version yet, get it or get the remake Wii version. Gamecube was actually a pretty good system with more power behind it than the PS2. The Rogue Squadron games were awesome on it.
Different tones yes, very different games no. Saints Row always seemed like a cheaper knock off version. Still enjoyed it though. GTA is just the grand daddy of them all.

Jesus, this game has went beyond my expectations and im not even a big fps fan. I am too distracted stopping and looking at all that gorgeous scenery! It feels really weird playing a game like this, that looks just as good as any PS3 shooter. Im really blown away this time!

I have to agree, that was one of the best game launches of all time! I remember getting the PS2 at launch and getting smugglers run. Came home after waiting in line all night with it.
