If it even improves on anything, it'll be on your TV set only and not the headset. What is even the point of even trying to enhance a VR game when the person that's playing won't be able to see any difference?

How bout this, save your money until it's actually worthwhile to buy a 4K tv and go out and buy a PSVR! Best decision I've ever made and its changed the way I look at games from here on out!
Well, it's been talked about quite a bit and people are saying there is no noticeable difference with VR running on the Pro. I have the PSVR and it runs great on the original PS4. People need to break for the VR and hold off on the Pro. No support right now.
Actually, you made the right choice man! I went with th VR and have no regrets whatsoever. Do not worry about the pro, as the support for VR they've shown has been little to no difference at all! I wouldn't get your hopes up too much. It's been proven all the VR games tested on pro showed little to no difference! Wait for PS5 when it's announced next year. This is just a patch!
Majority of all games will just be upscaled and on a 4K tv, that could cause a problem. It could bring out more noticeable flaws in terms of edges looking to sharp. If a game doesn't support native 4K, there's no point in upgrading to a 4K tv. Not to mention, what are you going to be able to view in 4K? There's no 4K player on the pro either. You're basically getting a pro to play Uncharted and a couple other games you already played some years ago, in 4K. Try upscaling a 1080...
The upgrade will be slight. Definately waiting for PS5, this half ass minimal stuff is nothing more than a cash grab.
Get a PSVR instead and don't waste your money on this. You are paying for a couple more strands of hair and some sharper text. You also better plan on sitting right up close to your tv to notice it. It's a cash grab and there's not enough 4K support yet. I would wait for PS5 personally. I hate to see people thinking they're getting something that they're not.

Personally, I think you will get MUCH more out of the PSVR than a PS4 pro! Apart from Uncharted and a couple other games, you're not gonna see much difference at all and even those I wouldn't expect much. Not if you're simply upscaling and the game doesn't support proper 4K. Also, unless you own a 55inch 4K and are planning on gaming up close, it's going to be minimal. People are thinking 4K and getting crazy. There's not much that supports 4K at the moment. I think a lot of people are going to be very disappointed. I would definately give it time and wait. Apart from Uncharted, the new PS4 pro will serve not much purpose right now.
