If you have actually played the game adding cities to go to wouldn't make much since at ALL for how the story is you're basically on the run the hole time, and there's not even really a town in the game it's just a thing in the sky, your a fugitive the whole damn game.
And yeah if think really think it was thr 360s fault you're a complete idiot look at some of the JRPG/RPG games that are on 360 that are HUGE like Lost Odyssey and Star Ocean 95% of the people blaming 360 are PS3 f...

IF you think FFXII is a button masher you most defiantly still on Disc one of early 2nd disc...You're gonna want the button smashing back once you hit 3rd disc, lol...Easily the hardest FF to date if not hardest JRPG to date...If you don't have a guide or go to GameFAQ then it would be unbelievably hard.
