Probably bungie sold it to ms, since they are using a different engine for their mp games under activision, that is being built atm.

Supposedly ffxi was the exception to online games on live, it's something to do with ms's policies on live/online gaming.
I think the 360 version is functional, i don't know why ms won't give the game the go ahead.

@earbus You do realise alot of the newer sony first party games and some third party games either require no install at all, or a very tiny amount of hdd space. FFXIII doesn't require an install nor does, gow3 , uc1 and 2.
