Watch Dogs actually wasn't a terrible game.. just wasn't standout. I have high hopes for the sequel.
The GameCube should have set the tone, but they didn't commit properly.. if that was a DVD capable machine that promoted proper third party support it would have done brilliantly. Why on earth they don't do that again I don't understand. Yes, they are behind ps4 and Xbox, but they could still sway consumers to choose a console that was higher specd and had an amazing launching up.. proper Zelda, Metroid and Mario games in 1080 60fps.. a proper online network and a decent controlle...

Chasm is definitely up there. Axiom Verge was a standout lsat year - These guys are definitely onto something.

Wrong. Outside of PS, Sony isn't doing very well.
None of the games you have mentioned that are avaialble on PC are first party Sony exclusives..
But most of those games aren't exclusives.. that's the point. It has nothing to do with a console war, it has everything to do with what the point of owning the console is in the first place.
Why would you not buy Sony? You get entirely exclusive AAA games.. if you want to try and Xbox game moving forward you can just get a PC.
I think Ubisoft have turned a corner with the new Assassins creed game and now The Division. They have won me back over as a fan.
They definitely lost the plot with Watchdogs - but I dont think that was just about its graphics.

I replayed Uncharted 3 recently and couldn't believe how poor it felt from what I remembered.. still pumped for 4 but can't help but think these games are a bit dated in design.
FFXV looks like its going to be good for newcomers and old school fans.
@Clown_Syndr0me - Agree that they are dated but I think those games are so important in the history of gaming that they need to be played. Its like old Zelda games.
