If you shop about, a few places have been selling the 32GB Wii U new for £199. I got mine from Amazon a week or 2 ago. The trouble is the price of the games.
They say software sells hardware. And why would most people who are looking for a new console see all the multi-platform games costing £10+ more on the Wii U than the PS3/360 and think "yay! Lets buy a Wii U so I can pay more for games!"
