Yeah, don't worry about that, you don't need to play any other FF game before playing this one.
Each Final Fantasy game has a distinct universe with different characters, it's never the same world or the same time frame. They aren't 'sequels' at all despite the name of the games.
There's nothing in common between for example FF7 and FF8, the only exception to that rule being FFX and FFX-2 which shared the universe and some characters.
Achievements now, wow ! Another stupid reason, keep them coming mate, it's good.
You know PS3 trophies are like 360 achievements but with levels (platinum, gold, silver, bronze) and with a RPG user level system yeah ?
Ignorance is great I guess that's why retards look so happy.
But you're right, people like you are on Live, so stay with them and keep on paying MS they need more customers like you who enjoy paying them for things they can get for free. J...
You're ready to bend again and let Steve Ballmer have fun with your parents' money while you're playing 2006 pink marines games with other retards and mongoloid kids like you on Xbox Live (TM).
Why ? Because they give you PRECISION and FEEDBACK.
We could achieve precision one day (I mean as perfect as with a pad), but feedback will never be achieved without a controller since you can't create user feedback out of thin air.
Sony understood that long ago and for this reason they didn't try making Eyetoy games replace normal games.
It's amazing MS executives couldn't understand that.
If 360 continues to sell this poor, it could die quickly and multiplats could become PS3 exclusive in the years to come.
In Japan especially, the 360 is dead, humiliated 10:1 in sales by the PS3 every week, so I don't think future japanese games will be ported to 360 after the few ones which are still ported now like the rising spinoff.
It could mean improved quality in 3rd party games (no more DVD / power restrictions due to the 360) so it would be a good thing in t...
@commodore : exclusives are maybe 50% of the games I buy on my PS3 and they're the best games, so yeah you're really missing a lot with your Halo+rrod console.
On multiplats, you ignore every game that is superior on PS3 (like dragon age origins, gta4, oblivion or many others), anyway when there's a difference in one direction of the other, it's always very very small, so small I generally can't even see it in my retailer's shop (which happens to run both consoles on the same gam...
