As the 360 version of Blood Bowl has been out for about a month in Europe...
Having played both the PC and 360 versions, seriously don't waste your time waiting, the PC version is vastly supior than the crippled console port.
I knew I had read somewhere that there wouldn't be a third series:-
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/e...
After hours of searching I found plenty of sites reiterating the same story, but absolutely zero sites confirming that a 3rd series would be made. The nearest I found to a confirmation of a new series was a story about HBO saying they would...
Seems you are correct... I'm sure I remeber hearing otherwise, original post corrected but obviously cannot update the N4G post.
Wording is everything, whilst I think there is a good chance the PS3 will get ME1&2 and Splinter Cell, it won't be for a while yet... As MS's pockets would have to be VERY deep to get full exclusivity on the SC series...
What amazed me was the wording during the FF14 announcement at E3, not once did they say the game was a PS3 exclusive, just that it would be 'playable exclusively on PS3 when it launches in 2010', which everyone has translated to mean PS3 exclusive. If ta...
@ Jikla
Your probably right, but Microsoft has made many exceptions to it's own rules already with Halo 3, Fable 2 and Rock Band (kinda)... So IF MS got LBP on the 360 (which will never happen) then I'm sure they'd sort something out!
Media Molecule are not owned by Sony, and Sony are only the publishers of the game... Which is exactly the same scenario as Microsoft, Epic and Gears of War are in...
So all those people that think they'll see GOW on a PS3 have as much chance of seeing LBP on a 360!
I think Mr Maguire needs to sit back and think before he opens his mouth... At no point does he say that he is referring to DLC only, that is inferred by the journo! So for years to come we will see people quoting the head of Sony Computer Entertainment UK as saying 'Nothing is exclusive'.
You'd think in a job like his, he would chose his words a bit more carefully!
Having played both the 360 & PS3 today at the Eurogamer Expo, I have to admit the PS3 version looks better (sadly as I own a 360!)... So I cant see why they put it at a lower rating.
Also, despite the game already being out stateside, they would not allow us to take photos or videos of the game in action... WTF?!?!
This is a duplication of another story already pending!

Yeah, and at one point I'd never heard of Destructoid, Kotaku, Gamespot, etc. so I never bothered checking them out either...
Get over yourself, just because you have not heard of a site does not instantly make it a waste of time. Do you only ever play sequels to games you played as a kid, because any new franchise you hadn't heard of couldn't possibly be better than Sonic the Hedgehog...
Even the chunk of the post that is shown here says:-
"and it's a bit unfair to give them all of the crap gadget glory"
I know exactly what you mean, but I just want to play devils advocate for a minute here.
Games today are actually cheaper than previous generations, and I don't mean Xbox 360 and PS2, but rather back to the SNES and Megadrive days. Mechwarrior cost me £59.99 on the SNES about 20 years ago, and adjusted for inflation that's way above what we pay now, and hell, even not adjusted for inflation it is still more than most of us pay. So in the grand scheme of things ...
