I just bought the game on sale and it's great Rockstar is still putting out new content for reasonable prices. This is an example of "Good" DLC. I'm going to download this.
This game looks like it could be fun, not that "great everlasting classic" kind of game, but just fun. And 50 Cent being in it doesn't make it a good or bad game from a gameplay perspective. It's all about the work the devs put into it. And if they did a good job, I'll be happy to play. Especially since it's not another alien vs. mankind, or WWII FPS.
What I know about music. There is only so many pleasing note combinations you can do in a 4/4 signature before it sounds like something else in some kind of way. And for a simple base melody there are many things that are bound to sound similar. I'll have to hear this russian song but it's sad this is why the tune wasn't in MGS4.
If you are looking for storytelling, then you are looking for the "telling" part. Movies "tell" you the story as you watch and listen which is fine. Games tell stories during cutscenes, but during the rest of the game it's up to you to unveil the story through gameplay. That is a method more powerful than storytelling or just being told the story. And video games have the 1up of both telling stories and being interactive.
After seeing what THQ was able to do with UFC Undisputed, I've actually been eager to see what improvements have been made to SVR.
