The 1000 and 2000 are basically the same fucking thing outside of being thinner, switch from oled to lcd, etc. Take a look at Andrew House's PowerPoint presentation and tell me what Sony has in store for the Vita outside of Japan? Nothing, that's what.

We've seen a few of these contest "mistakes" in the past with the Vita. The msrp has always stayed the same. If anything, I could see a price drop to $169 or $149 even.
Dedicate the entire show to the Vita and beg our forgiveness for being so inept at marketing & selling it. Announce a new Uncharted, Killzone Merc II, Resistance, and some damn western RPGs / dungeon crawlers. Pay someone to make a Vita exclusive Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance game and port over Gauntlet. Tell EA to stop being a dumb fuck and announce new handheld versions of Madden & Need for Speed. Give us PS2 classics. And drop the memory card prices by at least half and announce 64gb...
Most mobile games are trash. Free to play is borderline criminal. Let these companies try & fail at mobile. It'll give me time to work on my extensive backlog.

Uncharted, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified, and LittleBigPlanet according to VGChartz. Possibly more, but with the Vita relying heavily on digital sales, it's hard to say for certain.
But a valid point since the 3DS has a lot more million + sellers.
You might want to bring some of those games up to them on the ps blog comment section so they are added to the list. Hopefully they weren't canceled for the Vita...

I believe the new Vita model gets released in Japan this week. My guess is that most are holding off for the new model.
