You know, i really love this kinds of Grindhouse games (e.g. HOTD: Overkill) but when I played the demo i was terribly disappointed. If you want slow mo and stylistic action done right, id suggest stranglehold over this.
If you have been a cheap bastard like myself and not bought any Halo 3 DLC, this is a pretty sweet deal. Don't know if I'll be picking it up myself though.
I'm not much for these simulation heavy racers- I'd rather get a bajillion impossible traffic checks in Burnout Revenge :)
"Try hitting...rhythms on expert. I dare ya."
The only time anything has ever been easier done than said.
I'll hand it to harmonix, The game looks gorgeous, as do the peripherals, but I think it comes down to whether or not you like The Beatles. My sister is crazy for them, me I can appreciate my Metallica and Primus a bit more. To each his own, I suppose.
Although The Beatles music being in Rock Band is pretty epic, I can say with 100% certainty that this game is PISS-easy. The final song, Revolution, looks like it would fit on tier 3 or 4 at the most in Rock Band 2. But I suppose that doesn't really have bearing on the quality of the game, but it does cut the game's longevity pretty considerably.
Sounds interesting, looks meh. Oh well, my PC sucks anyway.
The year went by like nothing!
From what i played in the demo, it seems fantastic- especially the voice acting. Heath Ledger's performance WAS breathtaking, but when I think Joker, this is what I think of.
Speaking of Crackdown.... hoping number 2 has 4 player or more co-op/competitive. that would be simply INSANE.
Burger Time Deluxe? I do remember seeing something like this, but no nostalgia here... to young i guess
what were they thinking?
It makes you wonder- in the past we've had Breakout clones, Tetris clones, etc.... and now we have Bejeweled clones..... what's next? hopefully something like portal!
I find that some of the best Wii games barely even use the Motion controls. Also, I find the nunchuck and wiimote combo very nice to hold- you could play a game with your hands against your head!
Pretty cool- The only experience I have with Kaloki are the XBLA games.
It must have been pretty freakin' bad then.
Boxing is something that is pretty primal- but i suppose that appeals to our inner Neanderthals. What's more fun than people beating the crap outta each other? It is the fundamental meaning of "competition."
I'm not a big fan of boxing either, however Fight Night Round 4 was marvelous- could replace the real thing.
These are pretty funny- incoming nuke!
it looks like a bunch of my friends are gonna have to keep on waiting.
I loved Lumines, if I had an iPhone I might pick this up.
Also, Blocks 2 is a pretty glamorous title, amirite?
at first I was skeptical, but now the only keeping me from buying it is the price
