I love it. Decided to pick it up while waiting for Dark Souls 3 and have been playing through it for the past few days. It's really long, challenging, and has a wide selection of items, weapons and armor. It's pretty hard but you can play co op locally and even online with a friend after some setup.
Great game. Got it to keep me occupied until Dark Souls 3 drops. Very challenging and rewarding fights and lots of customization. Definitely worth the money. I'll be playing this for a while.
Already purchased it. Disgaea has always been consistent with gameplay I love so I was never worried but I'm glad it's getting great reviews!
Funny how on almost every Destiny article there's groups of people talking about how bad the game is and how much they don't like it. If you don't like it - don't play it! I don't go on articles for games I hate and constantly talk about how much I hate them. It's not even worth it.
As for people complaining about content I find that completely asinine. People complain about grindfests yet there are multiple ways to try to get exotic gear. From nightfalls ...
For those still considering buying this I would say definitely do it. For a limited time it's 10% off for ps plus and you get the ranger pack with some gear and a weapon. This is definitely not a casual game and is tons of fun to play with friends and randoms.
The original OlliOlli had me hooked for a while. Got this one today and I'm loving it even more! New added features like boosting off ramps, improved and beautiful graphics, amazing soundtrack and replayability make this a great game to own. I love the fact they added manuals and you can now complete stages in one long combo if you're good enough. Definitely recommend.
I'm just hoping I can connect to PSN in 2015.
I wouldn't even call this a review. All the author does is praise the graphics and voice acting, give a short plot overview, and then talk about how big of a learning curve it has.
This is a very deep game and the author didn't mention a single feature of the game besides story mode. The genre is strategy rpg so of course it will be difficult especially toward the end.
I really enjoy this game but would like to see a review that actually talks about some of the thing...
Exactly! The gameplay has been great and I'm glad it's the same. MyCareer mode is so fun too
Complaining about six months worth of content? That's much more than most games. There are big AAA games that I can beat in a few days and if there's no multiplayer then that's it. Plus Destiny has DLC confirmed. If all else fails there will be new game releases to hold interest until DLC drops.
I can almost call this game a masterpiece. Gonna go play more now!
A triple A title means it has a big budget. Doesn't necessarily mean it's a masterpiece. Most indies lack budgets to have superb graphics, but the gameplay is often amazing. Don't be quick to judge. Play a few indies you might like them.
Definitely playing this today!
My brother bought it for ps3 and I got it for vita. Graphics are almost the same and I'm enjoying bring it with me to play everywhere
So hard to put this game down! First time playing it with the hd remaster and it's definitely one of my favorite games so far.
Thanks for replying! I can see from your explanation where you were coming from with your arguments. I agree that this game did borrow a lot from monster hunter though. That was part of the appeal to me. I realize it's hard to write a review and have everyone be happy with it but I appreciate you clearing things up in a good manner.
"Totally uninspired and devoid of anything new". I disagree with this. Sure it's very similar to monster hunter, but you can't say it doesn't have anything new. The Mitama system is pretty cool and creates many different playstyles. You complain about the story being overly complicated yet earlier in the review you said you skipped most of the dialogue. I totally disagree that the creature designs are "uninspired". Sure the weaker earlier enemies aren't too...
Yeah I definitely will! I actually have been playing with friends lately. There's so many trolls and ragers. I'm usually jungle but I'm probably gonna pick up support as my secondary.
Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts 2 literally took me a whole night to beat.
It would be great to see AAAs on plus but I feel like people place indies in low regard automatically. To say you're 'sick of indies' makes it seem like they're all the same and that they aren't good games. The term 'indie' just means the game is from an independent developer while AAAs are from big studios. I've played indie games that I prefer over AAAs.
In some ways indies are the answer to many of the complaints people have over major studios. Ther...
