The series' most overhyped and overrated (especially by critics) more like.
The GoW figure was revealed less than two months after it launched, which is why it seems low in comparison.
Days Gone was 10 months of sales, and Horizon was 17 months.
Correct. For some reason a site posting a list of scores from a completely different outlet as their own news is fine, but cutting out the middle man and posting the scores in the comments is against the rules.
For me this calls into question the credibility of all GameSpot reviews going forward, which is a shame because I've historically considered GameSpot one of the better review outlets.
And I'm not saying this because of some reflexive fanboy defence of a game I love - I haven't played it and I have no interest in the Harry Potter IP.
You can't preface your review with an attack on the IP's creator that's unrelated to the quality of...
I notice they turned the comments off for that one.
The achievements in Mirror's Edge opened my eyes to a whole other way of approaching the game. Since some of the toughest and most rewarding ones are basically whole levels turned into time trials with very strict time requirements, they force you to become much better at the game - in a way that difficulty levels just don't - and made me appreciate the mechanics that much more (especially the momentum-based running and platforming).
They actually made the game bett...
You're not alone, I also read it as 'inspired' at first xD
Nothing is safe from The Message nowadays.
Last we heard it had sold 5 million, just over a year ago. Afaik they haven't revealed an updated figure since then.
Agreed.
Far Cry 2 was terrible.
Is the EU going to block the deal?
If that was how it worked, you could re-release the same game every single year with a slight improvement and each time critics would be obliged to give it a better score.
Fortunately that's not how it works; yes, in a way scores do depreciate with each re-release of a game, and so each re-release needs to bring something more to the table to justify scoring as highly as the original (be it added content, remade and much improved gameplay, a generation leap in graphics...
Sony revealed how much their PC ports have sold the other day:
God of War - 971k in the first two months.
Horizon ZD - 2.398 million in a year and a half.
Days Gone - 852k in 10 months.
It is a very long game (well over 100 hours if you find and then explore every area), but if you love Soulslikes that's likely to be great news.
The downside to completing every area is you tend to be overleveled for the main bosses, because the devs seem to have balanced the game around people only completing, what, maybe around 50-70% of the areas?
Last time they reported Cyberpunk's sales they had factored in the refunded copies (i.e. they took out sales that were refunded from the total). I expect that's the case this time too, because this is 'only' an extra 4.3 million on what they reported last time (roughly a year and 4 months ago).
If you turned it veritcally it didn't look so bad. On the horizontal, like in the pic, it was very ugly.
As long as they don't hold back for fear of an inevitable social media shitstorm (from people who'd never buy a GTA game anyway), they'll be fine. It's if they pre-emptively self-censor for fear of offending x or y group that things will start to go wrong.
The blog post here - https://blog.humblebundle.c... - seems to say that the launcher is for Humble Games Collection (basically the Humble Trove). It doesn't mention the Humble Choice games being restricted to the launcher.
Reading the FAQ on the changes, it says:
"Humble Choice will continue to provide a curated selection of hand-picked games tha...
@fr0sty - the DualSense controller works on PC, so just use that.
