is this particular game going to even be available on consoles? that is a very very good questions :D with microsoft working up a model to allow MMO's on the 360 it may be possible :p
So much good news for MMO's and i am stoked about every update that comes around especially after the 360 article from yesterday
this is confirmed... not the LoTRO title specifically but what if it isnt LoTRO itself, whatever they are working on is nearly completed and basically waiting for Xbox Live to get their MMO model finalized and working. maybe it will be ready by the spring update? hmmm...

of course MMO's are long term games... that is the entire point of them. You take the time to level your character from a level 1 push over and make them as strong as you possibly can, this isnt going to happen over night. If it did everyone would have super strong characters and there would be no pride reaching that high level and acquiring elite gear to set you apart from others. FFXI and Everquest Online Adventures are both ridiculously old games on the ps2 yet they are still active on con...
I agree yet at the same time i disagree, if console MMO's are spliced with PC MMO's allowing them to be played with each other i believe that PC users will probably have advantages over console users but if the MMO is strictly console based then i dont think anyone will have any more advantage than anyone since we will all be using the same hardware.

unfortunately turbine is notoriously bad for utterly ruining MMO's so dont hold your breath for this specific title but keep your eyes peeled for other MMO's that will surely come to Xbox Live as a part of this new model they are working on.
i agree, the extra money is not always a bad thing when you take into account the constant updates and fixes that are being done by the games developers, alot of the time they make the game that much more enjoyable.
had jack thompson spent his time being against games like this, he would probably still be allowed to practice law.
