I'd rather wait until 2013 for a new console, maybe even later. I'm having a lot of fun with my 360 right now, besides they just released Kinect, they would be stupid to announce a new console after selling so many Kinects.
I'm expecting a MW3 demo, Gears 3 demo, Forza 4 demo. Those are what we know about at least, MGS:Rising won't be there, so that's gonna suck. I think we might see the Kingdoms game demoed as well, and a couple new game announcements.
Then when they move onto the entertainment aspect of Xbox, they'll show off that XBL Diamond thing which looks really interesting, but it may just be for US, which sucks for us Canadians. They'll also show their usual dashboard update...
I also hated Gears 1 and 2 multiplayer, but when I played the Gears 3 multiplayer, I was amazed. It is so much better now, assault rifles are actually useful and you can get kills with them. Shotguns are still are a large part of the game, but you can do a lot of damage with the other guns as well. The beta was excellent and even blew some full retail games away in terms of quality, its a shame you missed out.

So is there two press conferences or something?
I'm hoping for the launch of an app store for kinect during e3 and some of those hacks being available for download. That would be pretty awesome, and give me a reason to use my Kinect some more. I'm also hoping for at least a teaser for Halo 4, that would get me pumped. Forza 4 will be shown so I can't wait for that, as well as Gears 3. This is going to be a great e3, just wish I had the week off work.
How'd this get approved? "Soilder"?
A lot of the hacks were able to do pretty impressing things using finger tracking and such, I think Microsoft will definitely be able to improve Kinect using software updates, they must have designed it to just like they did with the NXE.
I don't think MS is stupid enough to repeat what they did last year. I understand all the casual games were showcased only to get Kinect into peoples' homes, I think now they will focus on bringing high quality games to Kinect.
I've been saying this for a while now, Kinect would be awesome if it had some sort of app store with cheap games and apps to buy.
Gametrailers has an e3 show right after the MS press conference, that's what he's talking about. They will also show off Mass Effect 3 and Batman Arkham City on the Gametrailers e3 show, so that doesn't necessarily mean they will all be at the MS presser.
I never got a chance to get into the MGS games, but now since they are coming to 360, I will definitely give it a try.
I will probably get this edition, I'm not going to drop more than $100 on a special edition though.
They won't be airing the Microsoft press conference since Spike has a deal with them. Spike has exclusive broadcasting rights of the MS press conference on TV, so G4 won't be airing it on TV.
They said they will let you stream or maybe even download the press conference in HD later on in the day. I will probably watch it somewhere else since I don't want the surprises ruined.
Can't wait, too bad I'll be at work so I'll have to watch it once I get home, as well as all the other press conferences. That'll be a nice relaxing day sitting in front of the TV and laptop after work.
Can't wait! Hopefully the E3 demo will hold me over until the release, it'll probably just make the wait that much tougher.
This was my most anticipated game for this year, and then they delayed it. It was a sad day when they announced they delay, but hopefully they will make up for it.

I doubt that, especially after launching Kinect less than a year ago. Selling 10 million units and then announcing a new console just doesn't sound right. I think they were looking to extend the lifespan of 360 with Kinect, and I'm fine with the 360 for a couple more years. Maybe they will launch in 2013 or 2014, but I don't think sooner than that.
I hope they close with a Halo 4 announcement, showing us where the hell Master Chief is.
