I guess a 15% reduction wouldn't hurt, I just hope the DMR doesn't turn into an unbeatable weapon.
I've been playing Halo since the first one released and I play on a regular basis with a few friends so don't call me a "casual" player who needed the game to be made easier. I believe that bloom made it so you actually require skill to use some of the guns. How is implementing bloom making it easier?
The spammer will win if you're four feet away, not if you use the DMR at its intended distance. That's why you have other weapons.
I'm surprised this is an XBLA title, I thought this would be a full retail release. It looks great for an arcade game though.
I'm not a fan of them taking out bloom.

Less than a week left! The wait is killing me. I'm going to try to complete campaign before I get into the other things first. 4 player co-op on insane will be awesome, I already have a few people to play with.

You really should, there are many games on XBLA that are well worth the money. Sometimes I don't feel like playing a full retail game, so I just choose an arcade game to play for a half hour or so. The quality of many of the games are so high, and the prices of many of the good ones are not that bad. You are definitely missing a lot of great games if you skip out on XBLA.
He's probably expecting to get some free stuff for being first in line, maybe hoping for some exposure to Epic.
I just hope we don't have any problems next week. I have some Gears 3 to play, and this would definitely be a pain in the ass.

Looks really good. I want to hear more about the Cloud service and the Youtube application. I hope we're actually able to search up videos on youtube rather than get a top 10 videos on youtube type of thing.

It seemes like they are overselling it by keeping it a secret. If the kinect functionality is not a really big thing, why don't they just tell us it instead of keeping it a secret for so long?
