If by "execution" you mean the actual streaming of the games, it's done pretty well, provided that you have a good enough network connection. I rented a game and it ran perfectly fine except for maybe 1 minor hiccup where input lagged for about a second.

It's all good, it's been changed to "Opinion". To be honest, the experience wasn't bad and the streaming worked as I wanted it to. In hindsight I wish I selected a game like Twisted Metal so I could compare the competitive multiplayer aspect and how that worked when streaming, but I'm not going to shell more money for a game I can buy, play and keep on PS3 for cheaper than their rental price.
People are getting hung up on it because I gave it a score. If I said "First Impressions", would that be ok? If you just ignore that little portion at the bottom that says 3.5/5, will people be happy? Cuz you know, you can just ignore it, call it an opinion, and the world still turns... No need to get hung up on small technicalities.

Yeah, the vehicles on the moon map are definitely overpowered. This is by no means a balanced PvP, and I don't think it'll ever be, but in terms of fun, it's way more fun than I expected to have. I was honestly expecting it to be a lame imitation of Halo...

Nicely written! As an older gamer, I play as a means to escape the daily slog of 9-5 work, bills that are all-too-real, and weekends that are just too short. It's a delicate balance, especially for those of us who are married and those with children, but we always find ways.

One recent example - a buddy and I were playing Battlefield 4 on PS4. We weren't even playing very well, but I soon received a message from some loser who reported us for cheating.
We lost that game AND I'm pretty sure our K/D ratio was under 1 for that game, and yet some idiot reports us because we managed to kill him a couple times in the game.

I still have a soft spot in my heard for Gears. A soft spot that's been lancered and curbstomped and roadie-rushed, but I still love the franchise. I was really hoping The Order 1886 would be Sony's answer to Gears, but they dashed those hopes when they announced it's MP only.
I will say that I loved the hell out of multiplayer GoldenEye 64, but thinking back at how ugly it was, I know I can't stand re-playing it.
The 7 day and 30 day options are decent deals if you're able to finish the game in that timeframe. The 4 hour option is laughable, and the 90 day option is a terrible deal unless it takes you 3 months to beat a game, and you don't own a PS3 to play a used copy on instead..
